Good price, just remember it doesn’t come with a plug and you can’t buy them separately (as far as I know)
£37.99 on eBay from Currys with their 5% off at checkout

ebay.co.uk/itm…072
I believe this is the cheapest they've been on Amazon, other than last Black Friday (when they were around £42?).

I could go to Currys Ebay...but given the news/complaints I'd rather pay the £2 extra and guarantee I'll get it/them in a day or so
How many can you stick per plug. I have two already

3 per plug
nice ordered one, have 2 already boxed up, waiting to use when i move house so a third will do nicely. Heat Added
Are these similar in brightness to a lightbulb? Want one to replace using a lightbulb so I don’t get the glare of the bulb appearing on the TV.
Is there a way to get these syncing with the TV image (like Philips Ambilight) without using a laptop or the Hue Sync box? Thanks.

There is another method - but it's laggy.
But you can use your phone's camera and point it at your TV and it'll try to match the colours.
Would love this if the sync box wasn't so expensive.

Heat added for price but its not for me

I would seriously recommend it, having had to deal with Currys recently, they are a joke and the sooner Amazon make companies like this a thing of the past the better

It's all the hardware required for HDMI that pushes up the cost, even good HDMI splitter/duplicators can cost £50-150. What they need to do is do a deal with AVR manufacturers to build it in,like they do with Spotify,Alexa and other features that I don't use.

You don't want this, this is the extension you need to buy either the one with the plug for the mains or the twin pack also with plug
It works well on the pc playing games, but you do need the pack of 2, this is just the extension. I've got all 3 setup.

There is an app on fire stick so it can match the tv image
Is there any way to get the plug on its own for cheap?

Not that I've seen. You have to buy the two pack to get the plug. But I suppose anything with the right connector and power would do
