You can just buy adaptors for all your lights, I use an adaptor in my main ceiling light and no problems whatsoever!

Just buy the dimmer switch seperate you dim wit. It works out cheaper.
Bought this kit on Black Friday, it's brilliant, definitely no regrets. Fantastic for security as you can control lights from anywhere in the world, add routines, change to 16million different colours.

No it doesn't. Did you read the comments on that link? It was £108 including the switch. This is £110 without

I have got 3 sets on black Friday so I don't mind waiting
Also I got hue starter kit with dimmer switch for under £100
Therfore this is not a great price for me
is there any good deals with the actual dimmer switch

this comes with the motion sensor right? so you can set the type of light to come on (colour) when you walk into a room etc
how user friendly is the app?
with alexa what would you say to trigger the light on and off etc? ( i assume you can pair bulbs)

i bought some gearbest rgb lights which work with an app, but its a bit fiddly...
I already have a Hive hub that I use with my thermostat... Do I still need the Hue hub that's included in this starter kit to control my lights via my Amazon Echos and control the multiple colour variations or am I wasting money purchasing the Hue hub? Many thanks

You’ll definitely need Hue hub to regularly update your bulbs, that can’t be achieved with a hub from different manufacturer. You cannot Control Hue Lights from any Echo other than Echo Plus without the hub.

Doesn’t come with a motion sensor, though that functionality can sort of be achieved using GPS on the Hue app, so when you arrive home lights would turn on.
Can some illuminate me as to the bulb type difference I.e. white, colour, ambience apart from the obvious with colour...
