I've been after the candle sized bulbs for a while but couldnt justify the price. Found argos doing them on a 3 for 2. So im buying three packs and then i'll hopefully sell 2 packs on ebay making my 'free' pack very very cheap. I might even wait for a 1 pound final value fee offer on ebay so even better

most of the other bulbs are on the offer too argos.co.uk/sea…ps/

I have a lot of Hue bulbs now, but even I can’t bring myself to pay this much for two bulbs. Why are this shape so much money?!

i agree but they will effectively be next to nothing. I know it will be a bit of effort to sell the other 2 packs on ebay but worth the effort to get them

You are correct, I’ve obviously blanked out how much I’ve paid!
RIP off. I got one and wished i didn’t bother. It’s not bright at all. Very dim at full.

Mine is the brand new version e14 and it’s dim. Gives nice colour but cause it’s not bright at all. Better off with sticking to the larger screw type

Dim compared to what (or watt)? They are not supposed to be bright.

These are equivalent to a 40w traditional bulb, but being colour the brightness will appear less than a traditional white bulb anyway.

I agree with that. But for that price it would be nicer if it was higher watt which will make the colours pop more and give the room more colour rather than a dim moody light that doesn’t extend further then a few feet if that makes sense. The hue GU10 also suffers from poor brightness so I stuck my standard led 50watt back in my kitchen at £3.50 each. I’ll wait for next gen bulbs and see if they get any better.
Argos got the £10 gift card offer on if that sways you, thank god I don't need these. In laws have a 2x 6 bulb chandelier. I won't be buying them hue.
