Was tempted but need the bridge for these so it's a no go for me ATM.

Great price.

Was able to order two lots.

My wife and I share a Prime subscription.

There is a mega thread for all the amazon stuff

Seriously? People waste £27 on two light bulbs because they are too lazy to get up and flick a switch? #firstworldproblems

You can order more, just create a second amazon account and try prime for 30 days.

I know, when I'm visiting family 160miles away. I love nipping home to put the light son at home to pretend I'm in.
Also when I wire in my dimmer switch and additional cabling to dim the lights over the TV that is just time I love to waste.

Seriously? People use a switch to turn on electric lightbulbs? I just use an oil lamp, a wick and matches. #firstworldproblems ;-)

£27.50 for 2 bulbs, £45 for the bridge, and then whatever tech/smart device on top to control it from outside the house...
And presumably you want these bulbs all around the house, which makes it a bit expensive.
Don't see why to be honest, but that's just me.

I've been waiting for a deal on these, as they are normally prohibitively expensive. I needed 4 lots and have got friends and family to order 1 lot each delivered to me

Perfect Fit.....does that mean they fit normal a GU10 housing?

I only bought my first Hue bulb last week and it's already turned out to be an addiction. I've jumped on this from previous comments that GU10s are never usually on offer

Yes

Reckon I have 30 of these bulb fittings around the house so it's way too expensive for me. What am I meant to do, wait for Prime day every year to get the job done for a semi reasonable price?

I'll stick to the dimmer switch.

I'm the same. Installed hue in lamps instead which has been a bit more economically viable.

Would consider doing the same but the previous owner installed a billion ceiling spotlights so it'd look a bit weird!

Gutted that I bought 2 sets a couple of months ago but work great for porch lighting in combination with the motion sensor.

I bought this pack, and also the 50 quid bundle that has the bridge, two lamp bulbs and a dimmer/on/off switch.

The cool factor with these is being able to automate - for example, linking to motion sensors for when people enter the house/room, setting timers, setting lighting zones so that instead of going to 4 or 5 dimmers or on/off switches you can voice activate or use one button...

The initial 'why?' nerd factor is legitimate, but once you get a few bits of automation sorted it does make setting a nice ambience much easier.

Can these be combined with the GU10 starter kit also in the Prime sale ?

The bulbs look slightly different in the pictures.

Ignore - I've just clocked that the others are colour bulbs

You can easily get a kit with a bridge, the are frequent deals on them. Or just get a bridge on ebay, lots of offers. (have 2 spare ones myself)

Another adult at the same address as me has just created an account specifically to order these bulbs (I had ordered them this morning as well). He has just had his order cancelled and he was told it was strictly one per customer and the use of multiple accounts to get round this was not allowed!

Same surname, same address, different person, different email, different payment card.

I managed to order 3 of the motion switchs and they came today . Had to do separate orders tho

Gone?
