I'm really really interested in the philips hue, and in the process of trying to convince the wife. Guess I'm going to be in the doghouse.

Don't bother with them, I had a set that worked ok for a few weeks then a software update by Phillips rendered them useless turning on and off randomly, save your money do not buy.

Good offer and great product, got the first and last gen and it has been great for years.

How long do these 'bulbs' last

What are you talking about? 2yr warranty? Get replaced? Faulty batch? Or may just your network?

Cool story bro...emphasis on story!

Good price but just to be clear these are the screw in type not bayonet fitting.

yes, 90% of small/medium UK light fittings are SES (not E27) and all pendant drop's are B22.

yes you could use an adaptor but they'll add an extra inch to the length of an already large bulb, also the adaptors can get very hot and I've had 2 that have blown the end off 2 of my hue lamps.

This one confuses me, I've not used BT shop before. How come there's no image and no product description? It's also linked to the mobile site, which isn't the easiest to look at in a browser. Full site here:

Ordered on request and no availability date.
Good price but cold because not confident I'd ever get it.

What a dodgy way to sell stuff, im really after the bayonet set and this is the cheapest ive seen so far but the lack of pics and order details leaves me with little confidence

Here is a link to the bayonet version if anyone is interested m.shop.bt.com/pro…c=3

Pics show white but description states that it's the colour starter kit. Either way I've gambled and ordered them. There is also a £3.50 delivery charge

I have ordered the B22 set. It shows more stock available Monday 16th January!!
