OOS i'm afraid
Works with other hue bulbs
So that's 170 quid for 6 bulbs. Great price for Philips but I got 6 Yeelight RGB bulbs for a total of 49 quid direct from China.. Why wouldn't you?

I wouldn't because they aren't bright enough for me, the Hue bulbs are much brighter
Twin pack is the same price as amazon prime, but this price for over a week.

But how much brighter would 2 Yeelights be at 15 quid total? Hue users are just making excuses for their overpriced bulbs...

Do you have any problems with the Yeelights though? Mine refuses to connect the bulb to the app so isn't much us, not sure if it's to do with problem with ISP or router though. Yeelight support not been very helpful so far
Yeelights look to me like they use a cloud service, is that correct? ie if your internet goes down what happens?

As much as having to have hubs is annoying, I can't help but feel WiFi is not reliable or quick enough

Are you turning them on then off (with 2 seconds in between) five times before attempting to connect them? Got to be honest and say I wasn't and couldn't connect them. Then read about the on/off 5 times process and absolutely no probs since. Also work perfectly with Alexa.

Yes tried that, reset it so many times now I've lost count but no luck so far on wifi. Managed to connect and control if I set up personal hotspot on phone and then connect to bulb via iPad but that is a bit pointless if you want to control the bulbs remotely while out of the house.

Huh? where am i putting the second bulb? think you missed the point here somewhere.
If you have Apple this is only way to go. Very impressed with mine.

Misleading. Cold. You can’t post these bulbs at £28.33 when they’re technically not.

What are you talking about? price clearly shows £84.99 and £28.33 each when you purchase via 3 for 2 offer.

Pretty simple to understand.

Didn't vote before, but voted hot to counter this moronic comment.

And they are in stock for me online

I get how it works, don’t cry about me voting it cold. What I’m saying is the deal is Buy 2 Get 1 Free on an £84.99 twin pack. Yes the bulbs work out at £28.33, but that’s not what you’ll be paying out. The deal price is misleading

No ones crying here flash

You get how it works, but yet it's misleading... despite everything being explained in the title

Sure. there's a prerequisite to get that price, no difference from lots of other deals here.

Hope you don't stumble across any Amazon deals where the deal price is for prime members only.

Have you changed the app setting to the Singapore server? Won't function with Alexa if it's on mainland China

Yes. But it's not Alexa that's the problem - it just won't connect the bulb to the servers to allow it to be controlled through the app.

Are you using the yeelight app? I've had 3 from 3 diff Chinese retailers and all have been fine

Yes using Yeelight app although tried MiiHome and have similar problems. The light connected fine on the first attempt, but then performed a firmware update and never appeared in app after that. Reset bulb number of times but won't connect to app although switching off the router and using the iphone as a mobile hotspot and using the Yeelight app on the ipad allows me to connect and control the bulb but it's not a solution especially for remotely accessing the bulb with IFTTT or even just the app.

No, total nuisance. Can't help anymore than that! Have you tried the bulb anywhere else maybe? Families house to see what the issue is? Real shame for it not to work for you

Yes that's the next plan so hopefully someone will be able to use it, it worked for . Their support think it could be issue with router or ISP but I'm with BT using HomeHub5 so not exactly an uncommon combination.
