I bought one of these a few months ago and am so unimpressed. Definitely not worth its money. The brightness even on max is very poor. It replaced a bog standard LED floodlight. When comparing stats, this is double the Watt level and lumens yet in reality lights up LESS of my garden!
I think what it needs is a clear front (instead of frosted) and a ring of mirrors round it to focus the light like a normal floodlight

Good to know mate, nice one..
I've got one of these up in my backgarden. I honestly think it's pretty bright and work perfectly for lighting the garden so kids can play footy etc. I paired it with 4 of the Hue spot lights and gives a great light effect.

I find this is a problem with all Philips Hue Colour Ambiance products, I bought the indoor lights a few months back and was expecting bright colours lighting up the room in amazing ways, but all I got was a dim light that was far from specular and certainly not worth the £60 they were selling for IMO. It doesn't surprise me that their garden flood light is the same. If it's as bad as you say it is, I think using the word "flood light" may be mis-selling it.

Lol good to know it’s not just me that feels like this about the products! I so wanted to like the floodlight but just can’t. The previous led one was only £15 from screwfix. I would however say these are great for mood light and entertaining, just not as a replacement for a main light
