Seems a decent price again, it's been cheaper by a few pounds but £70 is decent.

Can get the E27 or B22 fitments. AO seem to have same offer too if you prefer to order for delivery.

Just bought to go with my new Philips PUS9005 4 sided ambilight TV which is awesome.

I would suggest you get the B22 fit. I changed to E27's to my regret. They are big and chunky and you will probably need to find adapters for any lampshade you buy.
This is a nice little set to get you started. So simple to set up unlike my Yeelights which I liked but were a nightmare with server location.
Bought one of each type (E27 and B22) since we’ve a mixture of lamps. Recently got on the Hue wagon and this seems like a good price to buy and then sell on the bridges. Hoping to get an Ambilight TV soon too, so colour is perfect. Thanks!

All lamp shades from IKEA are E27... So depends purely on what lamps are there.

B22 fittings are standard in most homes. Most stores primarily stock B22 fitting shades from my experience. I never go to Ikea but thanks so much for the info as I will have to change the habits of a lifetime and visit in order to put some shades on my bare bulbs.
Thanks OP - was going to spend £120 ish for the pack with the switch, so you’ve saved me c£30 there

In my experience most shops tend to sell shades with E27 fittings and a B22 spacer preinserted.
Yep all my house sockets are b22
Tempting... Anyone know if these have been cheaper in the past... I. E black friday before!?
Can these be used with an ambilight TV. And do they do the bulbs with the bayonet fitting. Cheers.

Yes, works with the bridge, believe it works very well. I am picking mine up today so will report back. And yeah both fittings are available on Argos. Think it's the B22 you want.

They work great with Ambilight. Ignore older reviews that refer to an app you use on your phone to pair the TV and Hue lights. Later software on the TV makes everything run smoothly. I can't watch a movie without Ambilight+Hue anymore.

Is this for iOS 14?
Is this the newer bridge version? V1 stopped getting support from Phillips in June 2020...
Answering my own question : reviewgeek.com/369…ve/

V1 bridges are round, so this is OK! Buybuybuy!
How's the set up with the new tv?

I'm not sure about those particular shops but the last shades I bought a few years ago (from Wilko and Asda) definitely did.

I am seriously impressed. Was so easy to set up and the effect is stunning. Definitely recommend. Very much bought into the ambilight and hue system. We have an LG OLED TV also which does have better picture quality but the the lighting is just so good on this. And to be fair I am really impressed by picture quality.

I recently had to return a TCL C815k and this was the replacement and find it much better even though that was supposed to be QLED.

Looks great!!
Has anyone got experience of Innr or Ikea bulbs over these? Similar prices for the colour ones, although white seem cheaper in the alternatives.

All work with the hue brigde.
