All of the Amazon offers include the damn Bridge, no love for existing Hue owners....

Thanks, ordered.

Now... does anyone want to buy 6 Hue bridges?

Hmm not the richer colors model

What makes you say that? It specifically says Richer Colours in the title, does it not?

Very addictive, effortless operation from the app

I'm losing the plot tonight.:( First time staying up for black Friday...

Thanks - I had a voucher so had to go via chat to get things sorted.

I can't belive I spent about £30 on the motion sensor when you can get the blimmin hub with it for £40!! It's still in the bloody box... husband on a permanent holiday it seems. Could have bought it now. Sigh

I've been trying to compare them and the only difference I can see is the dimmer switch!

I really want the LED light strips for the kitchen but don't need the GU10S as kitchen has some dodgy ceiling lights.

I should really sleep on it... Bought the B22 for parents house (just going to take one bulb!)

Now need to buy some e27 to B22 convertors as have two e27 bulbs lying somewhere at home!

It's only a 'newer model' because the new set includes a dimmer switch, which this does not. No need to panic.

If it was a straight forward gift voucher, it would just be refunded to your account anyway. If it was a promotional code it wouldn't. Just in case that helps you save some stress in future

Thanks - it was a promotional one, but good to know for the future! I'm in super stress mode today! Think my brain is slowly doing the sums on everything I've put on the credit card today.... Next task - find a balance transfer card asap !!!

I have a spreadsheet for that but it's not getting much use, because of the lack of decent TV deals so far. To sleep or not to sleep? And for how long. That is the quesiton.

I've spent £450 on Hue lights this week

eBay is your friend bro

Just skeptical on how these work when you're light is connected to a light switch, would the switch need to be on permanantly?

£600 on lights O.o maybe I should of went to bed!

2nd Gen bulbs had difficulty producing pure Green, Cyan and Blue. It was sorted in the gen 3 bulbs. Reviews have said there is a noticeable difference but I'm sure it's probably not that big a difference.

I am normally a spreadsheet person too!! Just didn't want to actually do the sums today. couldn't face them!

Have you seen tesco Toshiba deal for £299 or are you after something bigger?

Now I'm debating whether to get motion sensor for my parents and where exactly they'd use it? or would they benefit from it?? I'll probably end up ordering it

Sleep is dependent on laptop charge!! Keep forgetting to use topcashbaxk or quid Co when using my phone. .. (every little helps!!)

Yes. Resets the lights when you switch off at the physical switch

Yep. Then they are controlled with hue dimmer switches, phones, alexa or google home etc. There's someone one ebay that sells 3D printed light switch covers, which hold the dimmer switch. So you still have switches in the same place.

Thanks for the suggestion, it's a decent size, but I'm a gamer. And it's not really up to that task.

I can't lie, half my reason for wanting these is to see if I can teach my cat to turn the lights on when he wants them I normally leave one on for him when I go out, 'just in case'.

Thanks guys, would purchase but unfortunately my current light has blue LEDS in that would be on permanently if I have to leave the switch on! Considering them for the living room and kitchen though...

Not even lights, just bulbs! Y'know, the things you used to think were only good value if they were less than a quid each. Or maybe you'd stretch to 2 quid for one of the cool pearlescent golf ball ones.

Sigh... hope the other half doesn't check the accounts tomorrow.

I don't have a dimmer switch (yet) but have for the hallway one main use is the routines I've set for it to come on automatically and off. Also to go to the lowest brightness at late night.

I've not had a chance to properly set things up as husband is my worst enemy. He's been putting the flat ceiling led lights where ever he can oO. Thinks these are a gimmick and waste of money
