Not exactly cheap but then Hue lights rarely are and I think this is as cheap as these bulbs have been since launch.

Worth noting they're not as bright as they're listed as being on the Amazon website so are very much for decorative purposes rather than lighting large areas.

These have Bluetooth too by the look of it, so don’t require a hub.
I have these, can recommend
@purplegoldfish can u confirm if you require the hue bridge for this bulb?
Sorry, no idea. I have a hub and it’s controlled through that. Unsure if works without hub as haven’t tried to
description says it works with just a phone

No you don't, however some of the advanced features will.
Ours flicker when dimmed below 50.

Are you using them on a dimmer switch?

Nope, dimmed via the app.
Maybe it's a Bluetooth thing?
Was after one of these but hadn't bit yet so thanks for posting! This site definetly costs me more than I save. Can't say no to a bargain.

It has nothing to do with BT, I have the Edison filament bulb and it also flickers when dimmed, I don't mind it tho
I have these, they don’t flicker at all below 50% - I suggest you update the software.

1. They aren’t very bright but look great
2. The colour is very warm exactly like candle light

I have one above my dining table and it’s fine alongside other lights but it’s not very bright.
I have 4 of these and none of them flicker. They are excellent as ambient lighting.
Maybe it's something to do with the V1 bridge?

I have V2, they definitely flicker, there's lots of reports/reviews about them flickering. All software up to date as well.
