This is a good price for the Phlilips Hue bulbs especially they are on promotion offer - Buy 3 pack you get the cheapest one for FREE

This will be £6.67 per bulb which is cheaper than the IKEA LED bulb!

Previous deal has been expired due to them being oos apparently

same deal as before, expired very quickly as they were OOS. Looks like they've found more bulbs under the boxes!! Managed to get 3 packs with previous deal but move fast!

That's because the price being shown is for Maplin_Webdeals. Amazon is no longer listed as a seller.

The best option if you're wanting this deal is to keep checking on this webpage: amazon.co.uk/gp/…S5B

If they show up there then buy them quick.

Back in stock, just ordered 3 packs of 2 @ £39.98

A bit confused when it says works with Hue gen 2... what about Hue Gen 1?

I think they were different hue bulbs.

Everyone should monitor when I buy something from Amazon because a few days later they will then drop it in price.

Thankfully the £10 refund they gave me because they failed to deliver on time has levelled things out but still GRRRRR!

AFAIK there's no compatibility issues with Hue lights. So if you have a Gen 1 hub it should work with Gen 2 and 3 bulbs no issue, and visa versa.

back in stock

not anymore 16:30..... But Amazon honors the price if ordered while out of stock even if new stock is more expensive.

man - that is an awesome deal...

Has anyone experienced with any issues such as the bulbs glowing when off via the app?

Nope. Sounds like if you have seen that there is something wrong with the wiring in your house if they are still getting power. I once got this when changing car lights to LED bulbs because there was still a small amount of current in the wiring allowing the lower power LEDs to have a slight glow, never seen it on a house hold LED bulb, Philips hue or otherwise
