Hot, but might want to point out it's at PC World and only on the Edison screw bulbs.
Great price though.

But where did you pick it up from, the floor ?

Is this with the V2 hub?

Here's some cheap converters for the the bulbs to a bayonet fitting from Ikea, 2 for £1

do these work with alexa?

@gavinianward Yes, they work with Alexa. I actually bought mine a year ago (paying full price though) and use the adaptors from Ikea

perfect, thanks for that.

Yep they work with Alexa, i have them setup via smart things also.

This is a good price for these bulbs if you need a hub and are considering other bits of kit. But if like me you just wanted a couple of bulbs that worked with Alexa and does not need a hub then you should look at the Xiaomi Yeelights. The Yeelight skill was in Beta but is now an official skill on the Alexa app. It works really well and you can set scenes, timers etc.
Admittedly you have to get them from Aliexpress or Gearbest but I have ordered 4 with no problems and they cost in total about £34.00. I used them as a test purchase from these Chinese websites.
I'm sure these Hue bulbs are good I'm just giving a cheaper option.
Cheers Si

Sorry, forgot to add that the Yeelight bulbs are the coloured ones not just white so you can set different colours from within the Yeelight app or with Alexa.

Every single led bulb I've bought from China has lasted either hours, weeks or a few months. Many various from various suppliers. So I'll not bother anymore and will stick to branded ones. My money saving efforts have been in vain.

Can you get the hub on it own?

I managed to knacker mine by doing a factory reset.
Been through phillips support for 2 weeks but they seem clueless unless its on their script.

Bulbs for 50 quid LOL.... to many people with too much money

yep v2 hub.

Is that 100%? There's no mention of it being V2 at all on the product specs, whereas the V2 listing for the Hue hub itself explicitly says it's V2 throughout the listing multiple times. Lol.
