Yeah seen on YouTube they do. Some videos I've seen its a pain to get them up and running. I just got the hue bulbs myself. Cost a bit more but they're easy to set up and everything works the way they're supposed to.

All these are good channels to research hue bulbs and ikea bulbs etc on YouTube

IKEA TRADFRI bulbs, Innr bulbs on Amazon, Gledopto bulbs on AliExpress. If anyone has other suggestions I'd love to hear them!

There's a joke in there somewhere.
Supposedly the new generation of hue white bulbs are meant to be out now/ soon. Good deal though.
Always surprised these sell, would imagine those interested in a smart home would have spotlights/puck lights or similar in all key areas. We only have "standard" bulbs in our outside light and stairs. Good if you have them though so heat nonetheless.

I've a few Innr bulbs on my Hue bridge but the genuine Phillips Hue do respond better, instantly and nice gradual dimmer whereas with the Innr bulbs there is a very slight delay, but for the bedroom and dining room once set the Innr bulbs are okay. Setup for Innr is a little different to Hue so do a Google search for how to setup otherwise great bulbs although they did lose their connection once but setup again fine.
Technically any Zigbee standard light bulb will work with the Hue Bridge. I’ve got Osram GU10s working with mine
You can get these brand new on ebay cheaper, mine should be one of the listings haha

This is probably why amazon were flogging loads of the white bulbs for a fiver if you bought via Alexa. shifting (soon to be) old stock.
Are these any better than Kasa or Tapo lights? They don't require a bridge or hub and they are cheaper than Philips Hue.

What are the lumens on these Hues. Are they above 500? I think anything below 500 (equiv to a 60w bulb) is too low for anything other than 'mood' lighting.
