If you have a Home Bargains nearby, they sell a pack of 4 JCB B22 Warm White 8.2W bulbs for £4. I use them and they work fine. £1 a bulb seems pretty good to me.
The problem I find with LED bulbs is that you don't actually know just how bright and 'warm/cool' they are until you try them at home. Different brands seem to vary a lot irrespective of the ratings on the box, so a bulk buy can result in unwanted 'spare bulbs'.

Having said all that, this is a good price for quality-brand bulbs so heat from me.
Bought these when posted a few weeks ago. Was pleasantly surprised! Were way brighter than I was expecting, and are definitely a very "warm" colour.

A lot of them tell you the colour temperature. The JCB ones are 3000k. Most other "warm" ones are 2700k. Also most say how many lumens they are on the pack so you know exactly how bright they are.
That's helpful, thanks
