Philips LED bulbs 25p Tesco Instore Clearance

Found 10th Jan 2014
These usually retail around the £14 mark. Managed to replace all the lamps in the house. I only found E27 and E14 sizes but they could well be more sizes around.

3 watts each, also dimmable.

they done you on the milk though ;-)

£4.75 for whole milk, was it a golden cow?!

Just FYI 136lm is equivalent to about a 15w-20w bulb so it won't be replacing your main lights.

Was this a Tesco direct store or supermarket ?

Congratulations but available at one store and looks like you bought all the stock. Not really helping us. You throwing a party to celebrate? Cup cakes/flowers/napkins/bunting

They really are low, low powered bulbs. Philips don't even list that low on their LED website - they start at 4W which they quote as being 25W equivalent. Was going to go out to my local but not for end-of-line that probably get returned every time by buyers that just got confused with their Lumens/Wattage!

I hate our local Tesco, the only thing they stock is broken dreams, disappointment and despair.. Why won't they ever have these deals in my store!!!

Me and my band of (not so) merry men will be attending Tesco as shown below if I don't find something good there soon....

LOL yes indeed

As a comparison, a sidelight w5w bulb on a car is 120lumens. A headlight 1200-2000 lumens. These are useless

Im not using these as main lights, Just in lamps which they are perfect for. But I did find one of these which may light a small room.

LED bulbs are the way to go. Ive replaced all mine in my house so far with ones from IKEA - Around £6 a bulb in IKEA and they are the brightest ones I have found at 300-400 Lumens... MILLION times better than the energy saver bulbs and use just 10% electricity!!

Greenock store only has the 4w version of these, to save anybody checking

Any in Swindon? The tesco here is pretty hopeless in price cuts

More like decorative LED lighting than task or main lighting tbf.

£4.75 for milk? Are they high?

barcodes please.

Not sure if you're joking but Srs then why buy the lot if you have no use of them? Someone could have made good use of thesm right now. You do realise that LED bulbs can last a very long time & these have a lifespan of 20 years/20000h. By the time these have gone, we'll have more advanced ones by then.
