buy a 50p adaptor?

I don't like the idea of something with two sets of mains voltage contacts on it costing less than a Mars bar.
if only they were hue compatible...

These Philips bulbs are very bright and nice warm light. Shame about the fitting or I would have picked up some more.

Post the mars bar deal please
I hate bayonet bulbs now; I've converted all mine to ES using adapters at Ikea - I have one locally. So I use Ikea bulbs or Screwfix ; have altered some to dimmable recently and being changing an ES bulb is such a delight compared to a bayonet. That Edison knew his stuff.
These are really bright bulbs (13W LED, 100W equivalent) so make sure you want this brightness before you purchase!

What about LED lights not recommended for eyes? (Due to more blue light compared to other lights, blue light that is not good at all for eyes?)
