Fantastic price for this brilliant lamp. Currently £70 on Amazon UK, although it has been as low as £50.

This is the full sized one and not to be confused with the 'mini' versions

Be aware that it will come with a 2 pin European plug.

Great reviews on both Amazon sites.

These are great. I have 2 and I can confirm that these are 'wife approved' geek purchases too! Hopefully we'll see these come into Amazon UK Black Friday deals for those who don't like the idea of an EU plug. Hot though!
Fairly sure my favourite colour is not one of those on offer

There are 16 million colours so it's probably in there somewhere
Remember to check the used Amazon warehouse if you dont mind a damaged box as you will also get a further 10% off the reduced used price.
are there cheaper alternatives to the Philips products?
I take it these can't be used with with the hue app and are just controlled using the remote ?

Work fine as long as you have the bridge.

Does that mean the remote can also be used with other lights and not just the iris?
Remote can be used to turn all lights on / off and 2 screens if linked to a bridge.
Edit! Scenes not screens!

Do you mean the remote can be used on the same way as the Hue lamps can be operated with the app etc? Because I have 3 gen2 lamps all connected to one remote with no need for a bridge.

Sorry for the late reply, not too if you can do that as I've never tried without a bridge.
