This is surely the cheapest micro hi-fi with both DAB Radio and USB input - it even has a 3.5mm aux input at the back. Obviously, it plays all sorts of CDs including mp3, has FM radio, a cassette player and alarm clock functionality among other features. I will put a link to Phillips website for further product specification inside the thread.

It's £47 at Amazon (plus post of course if you want it quick). Not sure if it's any good ?

The P&P from Amazon (Hughes Direct) brings the total price of this to £53.88, which although is a saving of £1.11 compared to the PC World price, it can be bought instore at PC World, there and then! ;-)

As for the quality of it, I've got one and the sound from it is certainly fine for a bedroom, which is where I have it.

its actually £59.99 direct from amazon, as the £47 one is from a marketplace seller, strangely enough thats for the MCM204/05 is £60.20, they look much the same though :?

Good price.

The trouble with a lot of the mini Dab hi-fi's is that they have a tape deck! They would be a lot sleeker (and modern!) if they just simply built without the tape deck. The last tape I bought was NOW 19 and I haven't used or owned a tape for a very long time!

Rant over! :-D

I agree!!! :w00t:

Brought one of these for Xmas for my son BUT returned it to Currys due to the MP3 CD's I played jumped at random.
Got a replacement and the second one was worse so got a refund.
Also please bear in mind the USB for MP3 playback does not work on ALL MP3's. My Ipod worked on the stereo BUT my sons Samsung 4gb MP3 did not and it does say some MP3 players may not work in the manual. We are dtill looking for a replacement.

If you want one you will have to be quick. The sale ends today.

This is not a sale item - it will be this price for the forseeable future

home cinema tv which is part of hughes direct sell this directly for £50 ... i know this because i bought it (and i know they are part of hughes direct as the woman messed up when she phoned me and said sorry they are our sister company)

More than pleased with it, the USB playback is instant and i bought a mini migo usb stick to transfer across. Dab is top quality as expected and the FM reception is much better than my much more powerful and expensive stereo which i sold to get this ... Top notch !!

Nice find.

Be careful in store, though - mine came up at £59.99. This was quickly adjusted at the till, but keep an eye on it.

Just bought one for a present, should be well received!
