Same company - so if it goes OOS at Sendit it'll go OOS at Hut / Zavvi etc

whats the catch to why so cheap

Good price but Amazon reviews suggest that it's DAB ability is somewhat lacking.

Good price for what it is, HOT

Seems a hit or miss with supplied aerial for DAB if possible best to use your house aerial

good price

like the Key Features:

* Rip your favorite CDs to MP3

Dont forget Quidco Extra 2% Off!!!

Does this work with iphones via USB?

£89 on amazon, very average reviews, £399 on play is from a seller not direct from play, over inflated prices

Not exactly true, the reviews say that it is a very good product but that some buyers have experienced problems with DAB reception eg:-

It took quite a while to set up though, very small movements/positioning of wire aerial make a huge difference to DAB reception. Very confusing instructions to tune the DAB radio which caused problems and I nearly gave up, but now sorted and am very pleased with it.

The supplied VHF / DAB aerial is wired directly to the unit. If you … The supplied VHF / DAB aerial is wired directly to the unit. If you needed to attach a more capable aerial, you would have to cut the old one off, thus voiding the guarantee. If you're in a good reception area, you'll probably manage OK.

4.1 out of 5

DAB sucks on this model but one users said that the USB port can read MP3s from ipod

Tempted by this 2 questions
1. anyone have one and can comment on this
2. Can You Record From The Radio to USb or is it CD Ripping Only.
I've checked the manual and can't find the answer.

Yes That Would Be PHILIPS MCi 300

Out Of Stock Here But You Can See What I Mean

I am considering this to connect to a pc as a sound source. I see it has an aux input, although my PC has a 3.5mm jack but no photo inputs. The back of this looks like it has a phono input. Would the two be able to be connected?

Thanks Boz, will take a look. Wonder if this supports Spotify? (a bit of research needed here me thinks!)

I bought this rubbish some time ago for £49.99 new(other-customer return) on eBay,I am not a demanding customer, or an audiophile but absolutely NOT RECOMMENDED poor volume control range (lowest range is too loud), poor sound quality, after setting the sleep mode display DOES NOT goes out, illuminates the entire bedroom, it's hard to sleep with that you have to switch it off manually . DON`T WANT IT EVEN FOR £19.99
I realized quickly why they sell it as customer returns

for me freezing - seriously
