I bought it for 1689 on BF but it went up to 2199 and dropped down to 1919 now so don’t cold it on that basis :-)

The good things are it same panel as LG C9 with Ambilight which are wow

It has Swirl base ( Only Old TV with Swirl Base )

The only thing it doesn’t have is HDMI 2.1

All the best .

How would you compare quality to LG C9?

How would you compare quality to LG C9?

C9 has a better OS, supports 120hz, has Gsync and has HDMI 2.1. Picture wise they will be identical.

If you may have an interest in gaming in the next 7 years this would be a deal breaker, as variable refresh rate and dynamic HDR will more than likely be two key upgrades.

If you have absolutely zero interest then this is a good alternative.
not being funny but as you say it was £1689 last week. no time machine comments needed, but i wouldnt recommend paying over £200 more a week later for the same product. i would expect more price drops just after christmas. Also, what do you mean by its the same panel as the c9: isnt every OLED the same, as in, they all come from lg but what differentiates them is the individual manufacturers processing technology. this would be good for the ambilight, but i would reccomend the panasonicgz950 over this purely for picture quality, and also the LG c9 for better sound and apps.

Every week is not a Black Friday ... I would image same deal on Boxing Day.

But that only if you don’t want a new TV on Christmas. If you can wait and not bothered then I am not being funny Boxing Day 2020 will have best deal
