These are usually £40 and Tesco are doing a deal similar to Boots last week where you can pick these up for £26.66! Not a bad price. Advert shows it working like a regular razor as well as a styler: tesco.com/gro…258

This is my current shaver (the Gillette Fusion ProGlide Styler) but the difference here is mostly in the blades. I find Gillette blades dull out fairly quickly and cost a lot of money to replace. This Philips shaver claims to last 4 months on 2 shaves a week, and is rechargeable (have to buy batteries for Gillette's) and won't cut skin (guess the Gillette one won't either if you're careful, but you never know with a new blade!)

I probably only shave once a week too... so theoretically 8 months usage from 1 blade?!?

This one is the £35 model on Amazon. Since blades are around £11, it works out at around the same price no matter where you buy from

hiya, have you looked into blade sharpeners like the Razorpit? I have been using mine for 5 years and it really does prolong the life of a blade when used correctly.

Yes this is the same as the one at Boots too. The one on Amazon is better value though with the extra blade as you're saving £3.66 by not having to pay full price for a second blade

i got one today and can honestly say it beats any electric shaver hands down, also its just as smooth as a wet shave, im well impressed.

I got one of these today in tesco in Cookstown at £26.66 and they had the replacement blades on offer. The twin pack was reduced from £20 till £5. Don't know if it was just that store or if the blades are reduced nationwide

No, the text on Amazon is a little misleading. This item come with two blades EVERYWHERE. When on Amazon it says with one extra blade it's referring to the one already on the shaver, then the other in the box, just two in total like everywhere else. Philips is doing a 1/3 off with select retailers, amazon is not one of them.

Oh, mine didn't have one on the shaver. It had one in the box with the attachments and it had a small box with the extra blade in. From what I've seen on the Boots website you only get one blade, not two. Obviously i could be wrong but that's the conclusion I came to based on the website.
