What are these like compared to a beard trimmer? I normally do 5mm once a week so would just fall into the largest bit on this, but is this gonna give a better result?
i love my oneblade. so fast and easy.
Notice Argos don't list the replacement blade prices.

On Amazon, these look the same

What's the difference between this and the Pro? I tend to use clippers for all over, would like something closer to the skin.

Why not post the the 2530 for £23.99 as a deal? Better model, with more attachments and much better battery for less money, and with free home delivery to boot. That would be a hot deal, this is cold in comparison

I've had the iStubble and the better version BaByliss for Men Super Stubble and Beard Trimmer 7898U

It works sort of but required a lot of passes and even then it was never even, I tried this when it was on offer at about £30, best decision I made. While its old skool snap on length trimmer it just works! it trims it near enough just like how the barber would IMO just without the skill accuracy of course, it is even and look professional. Take the trimmer off I can do straight lines/edges like no other ive tried.

If you are thinking about it this is a great price to go for it, and way cheaper than the Babyliss

It shows as £26.66 on Superdrug?

Yep it is £26.66 at superdrug (Philips Oneblade QP2530/25 with 4 Stubble Combs) but if you have a superdrug card (free) it takes another 10% so it only £23.99 and they delivery to home for free or next day to store for free.

5mm beard length? That's just stubble really. I have the iStubble and that's equally as short for beards that aren't quite hipster but longer than stubble. The search continues for a good deal...
My hubby loves his oneblade. He has very sensitive skin on his face and any normal razor makes it really irritated. This glides through, no irritation, no redness, no cuts. It's not a close shave like you would get from a razor but my hubby loves his. Highly recommended!!

No.
does it give a smooth shave or is 0.5mm the shortest it does?
I've been keeping an eye on these for my other half, cheers op!
I saw this advertised. Any ideas what it is like for tough beards and ingrown hairs?
I have bought 2 electric shavers in the past (Braun and Philips) and they were dire . I came to the conclusion they were designed for those with with fine beard hair!

It's not wet shave clean but it's not all that far off. I love mine all other razors I've tried cause irritation but this doesn't.
I got the qp6510 at a discount as a beta tester at the end of April last year, it's only been charged a handful of times.
I just wish it has come with additional blades as at 20 quid a pair they arnt the cheapest, but next to a conventional foil head they arnt expensive.
I have this - it's great. Trims so close, it's comparable to a shave.
I'm a Gillette Mach 3 man myself. How does this compare, from the viewpoint of anyone who has tried both?
Same price at John Lewis by the way. Two year guarantee.

Same.. been using Mach 3 for years, nothing else can beat it, imo. Blades are a rip off though!
If people are after a close shave this is not the product you want. It wont compete with even a disposable cheap 10 back of bic razors. You can do a quick shave with just the blade and it will leave the hairs 1 or 2 mm (The blade is quite thick compared to a razor blade), your skin wont feel smooth but if you get irritated skin after a close shave you might find this is a good alternative. It's sorta like instant stubble.

The more expensive version comes with an attachment which enables variable length trimming which is what I generally go for. I have a good collection of various styles of electric razors and this is the most commonly used one. It's convenient and the battery life is great.
Are you paid by Argos and if so does HUKD have any rules about that?

My m8 is a proper desperate dan type, fusions go blunt in a couple days but he swears by these, not baby smooth but good

Same for me. Top product, although the one guard i use now won't stay on the blade unless I hold it upright. Any ideas how I get a replacement without having to buy a new blade?

Noticed Argos have two different model numbers, I take it the more expensive one has better features

seen amazon also have the oneblade which is a bit more expensive at £36 but comes with 2 blades instead of 1

im tempted at getting one as my mate has one and raves off it

I would go for the Superdrug offer on the better model for less money. How this deal went hot is a bit mad when it's not the cheapest or even the second cheapest offer for this model currently available. Supposedly a hotukdeal yet it's available 20-30% cheaper elsewhere!

If you want this model it's available instore at Superdrug for less than £21, or less than £19 if you are a student. Currently out of stock online.

Or, go for the model up which is online or instore for £23.99, or around £21.59 with student discount.

Both models currently 10% for card members. Sign up for a free virtual card online takes about 30 seconds. This also gets you free home delivery.
How do you get student discount for super drug.. Uni days says in store only.. If I order online can I apply discount?

Unfortunately instore only for the student discount, and you'll need a physical beauty card as well to get it for that price.

Thanks I ended up ordering the Superdrug one which was £26 but worked out at £23 with signing up to the virtual card as the cheaper model was sold out. Went through Quidco as well but that was only 2% but slowly builds my balance up
