DECENT batteries (see description below). Alkaline, seem to be 'Powerlife brand'.
Made out the image & searched a bit: AAA are 1.5v (LR03) and AA are 1.5v (LR6/AM3 MIGNON or LR6PS32C).
- Twice the price at Amazon and Toys R Us, also at HMV for £2 more!

Perfect for all those newly-acquired gadgets! FREE DELIVERY ON ORDERS OVER £10 at the moment (automatically applied at checkout), otherwise £3.95 P&P).

I've just bought 2 x 32 AA (16 + 16 free) and 1 x 24 AAA (total: £11.97 +TCB). - Yes, I do own battery chargers for both sizes but I think this is a steal. (Recent posts on here for less batteries and same/higher price were voted very hot.)

Just wonder what type of battery range will be the equivalent to Duracell or Energizer? I got £8.72 for 36 x AA Duracell Plus batteries at Costco the other day. Are they almost same quality as this one?

I think they compare really well. These Duracells at Amazon are described as both alkaline and 1.5v in main description): amazon.co.uk/Dur…JC2

The couple of comments/reviews I've read have been very good - a couple said they were better than Duracell. Philips are a quality brand so I'm pretty confident that they'll last me a very long time (especially in that quantity!)

Don't forget you have to spend £10 to get free delivery!

Wow-people still use non-rechargeables?

Yep, they do.

Yep, they do.

Amazing.

In some of my devices I have no choice as they won't run on the 1.2V (nominal) that NiMH batteries provide. Therefore I have to use 1.5V alkalines. Unfortunately.
