Wow, hot price, but ticket looks like a local deal. Good if you can get one....

really good clippers too

Gah.. Just bought these for £25 from Amazon!

I was at Asda Hulme, didnt' see any there. Its probably a local deal.

Argos usually sell these £20-25

Depends how you want your hair, the Number 1 guard is too long & no guard is too short. On my other clippers i can have the guard off with the blades back which is perfect. Got these Philips ones sitting in a box in my cupboard, not much use.

Not necessarily been this price before and I have seen them at the Sutton in Ashfield store.

Oct last year

November too

good luck to anyone wanting them paid £20 for mine and they are great.

This clipper is normally £25 somewhere... Nice clipper, i've used it for a couple of years and allows you to easily cut your own hair.

Cheaper than they were on Amazon Black Friday and I thought that was a good price at £13.99

Most of the standard clippers have them. A have a set of Remington clippers from a couple of years back and they still sell them in Argos. Its rechargeable and has a lever on the side that you use to pull the top blade further back to adjust the length of cut in smaller increments with or without the different guards on:

I use these twice a week and think they're cosmic. You can wander round the garden and shave your bonce without making a mess inside. HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT!!!

Thought it was just me did that!

Have some of these already, bargain at this price. Best clippers for shaving own hair.

Heated op

I purchased these clippers from Asda 3 months ago for £12. The hair cut is ok, but for weddings and funerals, i think that i will get a professional hair cut.

Can these cut as short as the pic in the 1st post ?.

Yes if you take the adaptor thingy off.

I've tried this the other weekend; It works best on short-medium hair.
I've had problems getting at the hair at the back (and below) the head though.

But it did the job somewhat.

If you remove the comb/guard it will cut your hair that short.

You do need to keep your hair short with these clippers as they do tend to pull your hair when cutting if its long, when I say long I'm talking a couple of weeks growth since last cut.

Heat added as they are very good clippers, hopefully nationwide though!!:p

Yes they can, but there's no way of grading between grade "0" and grade 1, so these were uselss for me.
Mother-in-law bought me one of those Remington round type clippers for Xmas and they were utterly useless!
Back to the old traditional clippers for me.

fiver ? i only want to try them once, as i also have my hair shorter than no1, so would not mind trying if no guard is to short for me.

They regularly come up at under £20. Search the product you'll see what I mean. So if you're not in a hurry.

these clippers are fantastic +1

I found what he said to be quite useful actually. ie the clippers cut well, but for formal events he would get a trained person to make it look extra neat and tidy.

Not worried what my hair looks like when I am buried or cremated

Has this actually been confirmed in any other asda branch?

Still scanned at £25 in the Watford store unfortunately, I fancied trying these.

HEAT. I've used these for ages now, work perfectly, bargain at this price.

So, only in one store but everyone still heats the deal!

Just been to Asda in Brierley Hill, West Midlands, still at £25 there and the very unhelpful member of staff stated that she didn't know why there would be a price difference between two stores in the same region. Anybody else found these at the £12.50 price anywhere else?

Just called, Great Bridge, Oldbury and Merry Hill Centre branches, none offering them at £12.50. :-(

Not a big fan of these. Shaving head is very wide which makes just above the ears, sideburns etc. hard to do as it doesn't really contour enough. Also, as others have said, don't shave very short at all. The rotating thing is just a gimmick and pretty much no use at all.

I always get the babylis ones, this looks like a great deal though.
