BT's 1571 service could do the answer machine thingie..?

Does it not have loud speaker function then?!

I'd love a new phone set, but have never read many good reviews on here, and elsewhere. Tesco have had some good prices on Philips phones for a while, just wish I had more confidence in them.

Don't forget Quidco etc with Tesco, plus clubcard points.

Useless Philips phones. Last year bought a set of three, all died within few months.

I would suggest PANASONIC KX-TG8323 which is slightly expensive but excellent value for money.

I am actually selling one on eBay but thats not the reason I am recommending this phone. It won best buy award from WHICH? You can check out its reviews on all sites. I am also using the same phone and it has been brilliant so far. Stylish phone also ticks the 'looks' box.

Agree, Philips phones are not up to much at all :-(

Buy Panasonic - I have tried a few others too!

Been a few good deals on Panasonics posted on here in recent days too, although some may have expired
