I bought a dolce gusto recently for home and love it, thinking about getting this to put in my office though based on:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Douwe-Egberts-Senseo-Roast-Coffee/dp/B009S4SYY8/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1389358664&sr=8-1&keywords=senseo+pods

90 coffees for £15 is pretty sweet

Absolute bargain. £99 in store yesterday. Were £40 b4 xmas. Takes standard Senseo pods. Gonna have to get one..

Don't know if this is any good, I was also looking for coffee pods and found this site, delivery is from £3.95 or free if you spend over £60(easier than you think, my spare cupboard looks like a tassimo/senseo outlet)

directcoffeepods.co.uk/dou…asp

If you have a family bargains near you then they do the real sensei pads for £1.25 and an imported types for a pound. Also all lidl stores should do them but they are just not so obvious from the packaging.

I had this for Xmas but swapped it in the end as I couldn't find pods locally. Stuff ordering on Amazon every time

For anyone having problems finding pods locally, I bought one of THESE from Amazon, and it works great. Arrived 2 days after ordering.

Now I use my own filter coffee with this machine.

I get the pods (the yellow ones) on a monthly subscription from Amazon.

Nespresso is great, limited on different coffees but the machines are well built and the coffee always tastes very good. We picked up one of these Senseo machines before xmas (for £35 from Tesco) and found it just wasn't hot enough, returned it shortly after. Will hold on a bit longer and then buy another Nespresso machine.

For any Senseo owner finding it hard to spot the Lidl compatible pads, there's an online photo of two of the packages at
http://lh4.ggpht.com/-Dfy1iu5s2dY/ULKTlv_DjLI/AAAAAAAAEc4/m1ouOiXc3BE/DSC_0064_thumb%2525255B1%2525255D.jpg%3Fimgmax%3D800

ie "Melangerie... Coffee Pods". Sold in, from memory, a pack of 18 x single size @7g, all for £1.69 last time I looked.

Either 3 or 4 different 'regional blends', with colour coded packaging, in varying proportions all together in a Lidl shelf box.

People having trouble finding cheap Senseo pods...

amazon.co.uk/Caf…_10?s=grocery&ie=UTF8&qid=1389371155&sr=1-10&keywords=rene+coffee+pods

I've already bought 4 bigs bags. Very good for the price. Nice buy themselves but for you cappucino lovers they are great as well. What I do is put a drop of milk at the bottom of the mug, microwave it for 20 seconds then put the coffee in.

You do know you have to press the On button and let it warm first before using it? Never had any problems with mine. In fact, sometimes, it can be super hot.

Bought 3 of these at the pre xmas price of £35 - theres not much wrong with the machines (2 given as gifts, 1 kept for myself), but only 1 store locally out of about 20 has the pods and they only carry the dark coffee, so amazon is the only way to go although the range is pretty limited - you can buy the coffeeduck device and use filter coffee, but after travelling around america and getting used to quality coffee bags in every hotel I stayed at, this is the convenience and quality I wanted at home!

If i hadn't bought this, I'd personally spend a bit extra and get a tassimo - if you don't believe me, check your local stores, every (and I mean EVERY) local superstore near me has these, about 8+ different types, including costa!

I use Lyons Coffee Break coffee bags from Tesco or Sainsbury's in my Senseo machine. I cram them in the one cup holder for a lovely mug of coffee. I microwave some milk in the bottom of the cup for 30 seconds before dispensing the coffee.

There are two lidl shops within a 10 mile radius and I've managed to get pods from the both. You have to look carefully as they're not very obvious. I think they're called coffee pads. They also sell syrup I just bought the caramel today to try. To be honest I need to fiddle a bit as the coffee isn't very strong when it comes out, it must be weak as I don't like strong coffee!!!! Any tips would be much appreciated,

I bought the duck as well, mine is the 7825 so it might be a different duck as they're model specific. Handy if you run out of pads. Again, with 2 heaped teaspoons it's weak, so I don't know what I'm doing wrong grrrr!!!

Good luck with finding the lidl pods. They are there, just hard to find and a very popular product!!!

Thanks, was looking at the Coffee Duck but might go for these instead as they're a little cheaper. So just to double check, it definitely works with the machine in this deal?

Works 100%. I have this machine (from Christmas), and the device works first class.

What is the coffe like compared to the dolce gusto machines? Personally hate the taste of Nescafe coffee, but have to persevere with it at work as its 10x better than the fake instant coffee crap.

At home I use Illy Dark Roast, which melts in the mouth, in an espresso machine. So if it's possible to easily use a refillable pod off the likes of amazon with fine espresso coffee grounds then this would be a no-brainer for me at £30.
