Designed to naturally follow your facial hair, Philips shavers use a rotary system with independently rotating shaving heads. Moving the shaver in a circular motion helps you to capture those hairs that grow in different directions, even in hard to reach places, for optimal shaving results. The flexible heads adapt to complex facial contours providing a clean, comfortable and close shave.

Same price @ Boots
Pop up trimmers are a complete waste of time. They don’t work and break off easily. I wouldn’t buy any shaver now with a trimmer in mind. It’s a good razor though and heated. Just ignore the fact that it has a trimmer.

They all do don't they?
I’ve bought it for my son 6 months ago. He is happy no complaints

Panasonic have a slide up trimmer on some of their low end foil models that seems pretty solid, my father had this one and really rated it:- amazon.co.uk/Pan…V6W I would have bought one myself on black friday for £28 if I hadn't bought a crappy remington only 6 months ago

He's just replaced his, since it needed new foils and cutters, and gone with one of their more expensive linear motor models (the one above has a 10,000rpm conventional motor, despite amazon's claims to the contrary) which unfortunately has a more typical pop up cutter and emits a sound like a demented gnat.
