I was researching these yesterday and was going to post a slightly different deal (John Lewis).

Thought I'd point out that the model numbers on these are quite confusing. The Argos deal is for the MG7710/13 which is the 2017 version of the 7000 series 12-in-1. RRP £50.

The 2018 version of the 7000 series 12-in-1 is the MG7735/33 which has an RRP of £90. You can currently pick this model up at John Lewis for £24.99 which is the deal I was going to post.

Some other sites (such as Costco) are offering deals on the MG7715/13 which is a 13-in-1 from 2017 and comes with an additional attachment for body hair.
###EDIT### - Although the Costco website states that they are selling the MG7715/13, when I went into the store it is actually the MG7715/33 that they had on the shelves - which is what I ended up going for.

They can be compared directly on the Philips Website (and even the comparison tool shows next to no differences apart from price).

So in summary:

MG7710/13 - RRP £50 - 2017 12-in-1
MG7715/13 - RRP £65 - 2017 13-in-1
MG7715/33 - RRP £80 - 2018 13-in-1
MG7735/33 - RRP £90 - 2018 12-in-1 (also comes with a travel pouch)

Some wild price differences there for what is essentially the same device, but thought the info might be useful and save others the research time.

Heat though - I'm hoping to receive one of these for my Christmas

From the listing:
  • 1 hour charge time for 120 minutes usage.
  • 5 minute quick-charge time to provide enough power for one shave.
Also says showerproof so not sure exactly what that means but don't think you can shave in the pool!
Cheers op, been waiting for this to drop in price.
Got one of these. Bit dissaspointed really. It's broke since my initial dissapointment too.

why were you disappointed and what part broke ?
Got this a few months back. Absolutely love it. My last Philips trimmer lasted me just over 12 years! This one is great - it is waterproof. The quick charge is a great little feature. The 1hr charge is awesome. Plenty of attachments. For £25 its a great price. It is IPX7 rated. Battery lasts ages!

Highly recommend it.
Need a new hair clipper, the batt has just packed up on my Lidl Silvercrest one after 6 yrs use. Prob the best clipper i've owned to date.
Is the hair clipper attachment on this Philips as wide and as good as using a specific head hair clipper ?
When a clipper does body & beard hair as well, i always wonder if they're a bit of a compromise.
I was going to buy this last year but ended up getting the below hattekar model from Amazon instead for bigger cutting lengths for head hair. I really like the hattekar. No idea if it's any better or worse than this Philips but it's an option for those wanting the longer length combs

Thanks op. Just reserved one and bought it. Seems like its well made. My last philips trimmer has lasted me around 5 years.
Was just about to post this after I couldn't see anyone else had - Luckily it came up with link already in use (Think you've misspelt 'Philips' so I couldn't see this anywhere)
Best trimmer I’ve had.
Can i use this to groom my carrot
Bought yesterday to replace my one blade (which I loved) but the thought of paying £20 for new heads when this was only £25 seemed crazy. Tried it last night and it did a great job, the adjustable head was so much handier than swapping heads. For £25 it’s a bloody steal

So the best deal is the John Lewis one, which is now sold out ?
Damn
Need something to shave hairy chest?..Will this do it?..close as a blade?
Bought this on the same deal last year (can’t remember if it was £20/£25) still use it to this day. Hardly ever have to charge it. Heat

Seems to be the case, I am hoping they have them back in stock or Amazon offer the same deal
Guys, I have it. It is simply the best trimmer that I have ever had. Battery lasts forever. Highly recommended.
sswats - maybe return it and buy this one ;-)
Only thing that puts me off this, is that there is no wide cutter for hair..... only the standard and detail cutter heads.

hey thanks for the info but what is the main difference between the two?
MG7710/13 - RRP £50 - 2017 12-in-1
and
MG7735/33 - RRP £90 - 2018 12-in-1
I would not use anything like this on my balls because it cuts nips and slices skin i only use foil shaver and then finish off with razor
does this come in different diameters....to fit small, medium and massive hooters ?
Can't thank enough was eyeing a good trimmer for a week

Lol!!!!
Is the cutting length adjustable? Apart from changing heads. I want one that is very adjustable like the ones with a variable lever
Bought yesterday, cut my hair with it earlier. I was initially unimpressed with the small size of the actual clipper blades. However, I do have to give it 5/5 after use, one of the easiest haircuts I've done. Very quiet, usually I would think the louder the more powerful but not in this case, its still powerful and constant which is important. Cordless is great, had one before but this is much better designed. Attachment for every part of the body, amazing really. I like to leave a small amount of stubble but still look tidy, with no attachments I can use this as my daily shaver too. Bought to take on a trip around the world for 12 months. This will help me not look like a vagabond! I got a USB Phillips charger for it (Chinese of course) £2.50 off eBay as the charger supplier is for UK mains only.

The only difference is that one is the current model. Other than potentially minor refinements they are the same.
What’s the major difference . Which is the better facial hair trimmer (not shaver) hotukdeals.com/dea…760
