I recommend this trimmer, so much more functional and better value (albeit not on a special deal) :

The site is called 3 camels just in case you ever want to check if the price has ever been lower higher/average etc on Amazon and used by a lot of people who post deals. Pretty handy since this is a money saving site don't you think.

I think you should look up sarcasm
Careful with these, I have this i use for shaving and doing my hair, the touch control scroll messed up to the point that it stops working and locks at a certain length and nothing changes it... Just out of warranty too gutted. They're fantastic other than the obvious touch scroll which can't be overridden ... Get the series down with a physical scroll i would!

Call Philips customer service. They will likely honour the claim and send you a replacement. They have been good in my experience.
I recently got a wahl pro clip from their refurb stuff .only £18 del.
Mint and by far the best clipper I've used.
Wahl say it's for students while they decide which proper set to get !!!

Which model of the series down from these do you mean? I can't see one, apart from the 5000 series which only cuts to 23mm and not 42mm...
Thanks OP. Ordered. My current cordless clippers are starting to fail and these look pretty good. Hopefully an upgrade from the last one too.

The professional range Wahl clippers are great, the cheap domestic stuff is hopeless.
