I bought one of these last year and its stopped working twice. Philips replaced the first one and its just happened again. Same has happened with my husbands. I wouldn't buy this one again.

I need an electric toothbrush as bad gums but I hate them, all so expensive for a decent one and I've never had one last much longer after the warranty. I opened it up, battery soldered in place and was a weak battery. Pretty sure they just want them to last till warranty to force you to keep buying new ones as they expect most of us can't replace the battery ourselves. Just annoys me so much, we're suppose to cut down on waste and companies like this get away with this, all I needed was a new battery.
Just returned mine for a third time after it stopped working. They will replace it with another that will then pack in and have to be sent back. Tedious process.
My third sonicare has broken after about 18 months, I've had cheap ones like this in the past which broke even quicker. I went for a diamond clean this time around hoping it would be better quality but apparently not.

I've decided to try a Xiaomi sonic toothbrush this time round for £30 and £2 a brush head, I'm currently waiting on delivery. Hopefully it will last longer.
My kids have got Braun Oral B ones which were much cheaper than ours and have lasted years! Might get the same as them as we've never had a problem with those ones.
