I've replaced mine every 2 years and it was always the battery that had issues
I've had two Brauns in 7 months (both batteries were at fault)
I had a Sonicare before the Brauns, and went straight back to Sonicare - better toothbrush and better cleaning, but that's just me xx

Thanks, i must be doomed then. I had 1st one vibrating metal head dropped to no vibration. Philips replaced it under warranty for model up with the pointless modes and after 3 months it kept turning off and changing modes while brushing. The 3rd one (current) battery doesn't last long 2-3 days per charge. I was thinking to buy this one or get a Oral B but probably have the same luck regardless.

They usually break in 2-3 years for me. Switched to Oral B this time round when my latest Sonicare broke a month ago. I've used both in the past and don't find them any more reliable, but was sick of paying £6 each for the replacement Philips mini brush heads. An 8 pack of Oral B crossaction heads from Amazon worked out at £1.88 each, which seemed like less of a micky take.

Try eBay for non-branded replacement heads - much cheaper and have been fine for me.
