As recommended by lots of people I know who say they no longer have to visit the dental hygenist for a "scraping"! Convinced my husband to buy me one for christmas!

Other places (debenhams amongst them) are selling it half price for £50 but a lot of shops still have these at £99.

Amazon have now put this up to £45.99 - typical!

EDIT:
25th December - this is now down to £35.99 w00t.
If (like us) you bought one at a higher price, remember Amazon's 30 days price drop policy - they will refund the difference back to you if it is now at a lower price.

hmm that's strange. I just went back and updated all the links and its still not working...

Great toothbrush, had one for a year now... teeth never felt so clean!
Just a shame about the cost of the replacement heads. RRP is around £25 for a pair!

these are suppose to rock, heard nothing but brilliance from 2 people who i know have them.

Very healthy and white teeth, too, lol.

Just noticed Amazon are selling the replacements for £15.99... not a bad price on its own, but should have ordered some while the Hellmans code was still working .... doh! :santa:

This is a good price for this toothbrush! I bought one for myself at Boots for £50 and got the extra points - but they are sold out at the moment - stock coming soon. My dentist promotes these toothbrushes too, I only found out after I had got one for myself, so I feel VERY pleased.

Gonna vote hot, if you can afford it, you should have a Sonicare!

By the way, the internal battery doesn't last past 2 years. And it cannot be replaced. It's reported on Wikipedia as well. I switched to an Oral B Triumph after 2 yrs when the thing stopped working.

Yep,

I've read bad things about the Philips electric toothbrushes. Battery problem, motor problems, part of the bottom coming away and not being able to charge it properly.

Anyway, the Braun ones are half price everywhere at the moment. These new Braun Triumph toothbrushes are new technology as opposed to the Philips ones which have been around for years.

I'd stick with the Brauns if I was you.

Well, on the other side, I've had two Braun electrics die on me but as they were cheaper I wasn't bothered. I think a 2 year guarentee with this Sonicare one is enough to satisfy me. If it goes bellyup after 2 years, then fair enough...

Thanks for this :santa: Good deal :santa:

Price has now dropped down to £35.99 - what a bargain!

I bought one of these and the battery was utter ****. :viking:

Stay well clear of these.

Voted hot - this is an extremely good price for this toothbrush!

I bought 2 this December, if I had holded out, I could've saved some money.

good deal!! voted hot..coming from a dentist 2 too!! ;-)

Stay well clear of this comment, my battery has been great so far.

Really gutted as I paid double this price 2 months ago at LX direct

I bought an older version 2-3 years ago and the battery is still going strong

Great offer thanks.

I already have the Advance model and did have a problem with the battery at first only lasting a few days before needing charging again , but i phoned Philips and they told me to charge it for at least 16 hours or until the green light stayed static i did that and its been great .Perhaps if i had read the instructions in the first place i would have known that :whistling: lol

Chaos

Just bumping this up as there was a duplicate posted earlier today

I have one of these, been using it for two years now (yes theyve been out that long) They are fantastic, and I love mine, but scientific studies show only a marginal benefit to using these over normal manual brushing. Also the replacement heads are a bit of a con. But this is a seriously good price

this is now back up to £57.27.... just when i'd finally made my mind up to go for it!!

is there any chance it would go back to £35.99?
