Hmm still good. I bought two.

I got 2 for £9.97 including free upgrade to express shipping (which lessens the blow somewhat).

I didn't ignore you guys, I just took it into account and thought I'm happy with that anyway.

QUIDCO TOO!

What is the benefit of these over a normal extension strip ?

I think so, but having said that, it'll be out of view anyway.

They are pretty cheap, good quality multiways though. You can get them (straight 4-ways) for a quid in poundland, but are they any good?

yeah i think the pound land ones are ok, this looks very messy to me lol

Have to say...it looks hideous!

...it doesn't say in the description how long each 'tentacle' can stretch, if it's as in the picture then this really is pretty pointless!!

Idea for these over the 4way block is say you use it for the pc etc , speakers, modem, scanners etc have power transformers and these are too wide and 2 take 2 sockets up on a block unit. So you do get 5 working sockets instead of 3 out of 4 etc. Get the drift.
Been going to get a couple of these for ages I may pull my finger out lol.

These things are all right, not buying any as this isn't the surge protected model (Philips SPR5500BN), BUT if you have large power blocks that hog your extension sockets, & a place to keep this outta sight, then it's a good deal.

Especially as they are brand name, each to their own, but I'd NEVER trust my A/V or PC kit to a no name pound store, ironmongers or any other value store generic multistrip. Hundreds of £ worth of kit, chained to a no name pound job? Just seems daft to me & asking for trouble.

Mind you I settled on a couple of these for my A/V & PC outlets, fantastic things...

I have one of these in the livingroom behind my AV system, great items.

This was posted by a mod 2 months ago for £4.99 + P&P and it reached 350 degrees. A mere mortal posts it for £2 cheaper and it goes freezing.

Arf.

ordered two even with the postage I am happy:thumbsup:
