i'm going away from home for a few months, so i've been looking for an iron for a few weeks. This is the first "genuine" saving i have found for a decent iron.

Looks like a good deal to me. Why the cold vote?

Heat added, even though I have an iron phobia lol.

looks good to me. Philips do good Steam Generators too !!

first the iphone then the ipad now the iron......brill

Steaming hot

Thanks, as you said, first genuine saving on a decent iron; £45 minimum elsewhere. I've ordered one!

Heat added. Paid over twice this price for a Phillips iron with slightly higher spec in the winter sales. Great deal for a good make.

Can't think of any pressing reasons not to buy! :whistling:

Sorry! must of picked up the last to on promotion!

i like my women, just like my golf, holding the iron :whistling:

I don't rate any Philips consumer electronics products, except their shavers. Over the years I've had a TV, radio, iron, kettle ---- and they all had one thing in common ---- they were rubbish and never lasted long. May as well buy brand-X budget stuff, it's of equal or better quality.

I bought a Lervia Iron from Lidl for £4.99, it works better than the overpriced branded one it replaced!

How do you get Prince Charles to burn his ear? ----- phone him when he's ironing
