65 inch is £954, these support HDR10+ HLG & dolby vision... plus ambilight 2... amazing bit of kit.

This or the Phillips oled which doesn't support hdr10+ and Dolby vision
I'm looking forward to this range coming down in price, Philips look like they've upped their game with their mid-tier offerings.

Was so close to going for this (this was cheaper recently). Love ambilight, currently have an older 1080 Philips set after my old 4k TV was smashed. I had been waiting for this set to be released since January.

However, for £10 less you can get the LG 55SK9500 which is a far far better TV in every way. Doesn't have HDR10+, but then who cares, Netflix Microsoft and apple won't be supporting it.

I figured the hue sync app could be a potential workaround for me.

Anyway, the LG is cheaper, brighter, much better colour accuracy, FALD, better sound, has Webos, magic remote, 120hz panel, 10bit.

It's a dilemma that's given me serious first world problems, so I've gone for a projector today until I can decide what to do for my main TV.

If this hits £4-500 then maybe it would be worth a look as an alternative to LGs or Sony's mid range LCDs, but £800 is too much imo.

Ambilight. My Philips had a stunning picture. Are there TVs that look better? Probably. Do I think about those TVs when I'm watching my TV at home? Never.

In fairness, I paid £379 for mine (50"). Still, the picture a better panel would have to make mine look like SD for me to even consider giving up ambilight.

I have a philips ambilight model too, but motion handling is poor, blacks are grey, banding is visible as like this its not a 10bit panel.

Xbox will have the hue sync app soon too so lightstrips can be used with other TVs too.
