This is a great deal on the Philips Wake-Up alarm clock.

Gradually wakes you up gently with light and optional sound. It also has a dimming feature to help you get to sleep. It has been clinically proven to work and has 20 different brightness levels. Great for use on dark mornings and for shift workers.

Currently going for £110-£140 on Amazon and other Ebay sellers.

This deal is directly from Philips and has a good return policy with free postage or click and collect from Argos.

Good price but I think it would be better for people to pick up a hue starter kit os can do this via your phone alarm.

I like the older philips with the mood light, radio and 4 alarms

Exactly my thoughts. Good price considering they rrp for £150 (not sure why they are around this mark) but you can get the same light effect with a xiaomi yeelight bulb by putting it on a schedule. I picked up a yeelight from gearbest for £8 and they're pretty solid smart bulbs with sunrise and dusk preset. Probably wouldn't get the gradual light up or down but possibly other smart bulbs can do that.

Yeah I mean the Philips once are leaps and bounds ahead but cheaper ones are usable dependent on situation. It's just the premium, if Philips lowered the price point even 20/30% then it would start to become affordable for people to kit out their whole home.

I really struggle with dark mornings and this has honestly been a god send. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. I would 100% recommend one of these

One for £19.99 might not be a Philips but gets good reviews might be ok for shallow pockets.. amazon.co.uk/dp/…c=1

Don't forget 5% quidco on ebay ending tomorrow!

It's rubbish, I have one and it doesn't dim far enough and the volume doesn't go quiet enough.

Its ridiculous paying £55 for an alarm clock

I have a bedside lamp with a yeelight in it, works great in sunrise mode, £8.40 from gearbest.

I didn't know you could do that! Thanks!

Quit your job then you don't need to wake up when it's dark and scary outside!

Same for me. Using a yeelight combined with the sleep as android app which does sleep tracking + smart wakeup app. Sleep as android triggers the yeelight to turn on through iftt, and then I have different delays so every few minutes it shifts up through different brightness and colour settings. The yeelight is great for the price, doesn't need a controller and is really bright.

Bear in mind the buttons are very difficult to distinguish in the night By accident you might switch on the radio ;] .
