Philips toothbrush heads - £5 @ Philips (+£3.99 P&P)
Found 12th JanFound 12th Jan
Original Philips toothbrush heads for only £5 for a pack of 2. They go for around £15 in Boots or Superdrug £3.99 postage

Thanks I'll try them.

These are my current selection - Slightly softer than the official Philips version but otherwise no problems.

Fair enough. I'm always suspicious of third-party things like toothbrush heads though, having been burnt more than once. Which particular ones would you recommend?

I agree about the replacement heads, but I still use Sonicare, I just get third-party replacement heads. 20 for £17 on Amazon.

Philips wake up light £60 delivered with armed forces code @ Philips
Found 15th Dec 2018Found 15th Dec 2018
Use code for 20% off whole site plus free delivery over £30

I'm not entitled to one but wouldn't dream of using a code associated with it. I'd rather pay full price than potentially ruin a scheme such as this.

Seriously not cool poster, reported this thread!

Gonna get a mighty cold response from those rightfully entitled to a DDS card!

Cold. Sharing DDS codes is against their T&Cs. could also lead to Philips cancelling the code for all armed forces. Recommend OP or someone expire.

I’d never share codes from my defence discount account.

?? There are 50 products in the sale so how can it be 'both 50' products??????

9000 series shaver is £197 on this sale. On Amazon it is £175 currently and £143 for open box. Over black Friday fortnight, I think I remember down to £114. Sales based on rrp on manufacturers websites are a scam imo.

Both 50 products yes.

yep, not a bad price - given you heat (y)

Recommend the trimmer, remember to activate the guarantee online to get the 5 years otherwise its 2 years. I bought from Argos for £25, also with £4 insurance for accidental damage - I always end up breaking the combs of trimmers and its covered for that :)

Thanks ellenw, I was just about to post the Amazon deal of the day for the 6100 at £74.99. This is a fantastic price for it, and this deal should be way hotter! Worth noting that there's currently 10% cashback available through Topcashback, though it may not track of course as they don't list the voucher code on their site.

Excellent thanks for that, got one from Amazon for £90 so sending that back.

Thanks so much Op, was just waiting for this from Amazon for about 85-90 pounds but the order had been delayed. Cancelled and ordered this deal. Heat added (y)

Philips OneBlade 3 pack replaceable blades, lasts up to 4 months, £24.40 at philips

I’ve had this for a year and haven’t changed the blades but haven’t used it every day. Unfortunately I can’t recommend it. I find it difficult to get a good angle when fine trimming or shaping as the flat piece (which looks like razor bit is just a printed pattern) feels like it’s in the way. Otherwise it’s just like any other electric razor to me. It also takes a while to charge and doesn’t last as long as claimed. The other big gripe I have is that the pack I have came with 3 adapters, 1, 3 and 5. Which is obviously a marketing con to force you into buying additional adapters or a premium pack. Given it’s not exactly cheap this is poor value. Sometimes I feel I need a 2 or 4 adapter which I don’t have. Generally I think this is an overhyped product that’s not as great as it seems...

Bloody love this shaver. I bought one 12 months ago and just about to finish the second blade. I've taken it Australia, USA and just used in Thailand each for month at a time. It's so compact and gave me a decent shave every day with not a single rash or irritation on my neck, which I am prone to with razors. This thing won't give you a razor clean shave but will let you look fairly clean shaven Every day with no irritation, love it !

Not sure if the best. I wanted a quick light razor I could dry shave with, no foam, just zip zip done. I've never used electric so I have nothing to compare it to, but shaving with this easily takes me as long as foam + my usual razor does. But this can dry shave, which is what I needed. The only thing is there is no way to catch the hairs, and it covers my entire sink and side in tiny hair shavings :( It really makes a mess of the shink, maybe I'm just used to foam+razor catching it all. Also the power charge is insane, 8 hours for 45minutes or something daft. Still, I do like it and use it for the dry shave when required. Plus i like the 0.5mm stubble look it leaves ;) -edit Those blade resharpening tricks should work with this? Jeans or a sharpener etc. Give it a go, they claim to give 50% longer life to the blades.

Can't grow a beard. Blade lasted over a year.

4 months (lol) I can shave my head twice with a blade before it goes dull

Philips OneBlade Pro Hybrid Trimmer & Shaver with 12-Length Comb - QP6510/30 £48.99 @ Philips
Found 29th Nov 2018Found 29th Nov 2018
Great Deal, it was at £74.99 at the start of the month. Only £10 more then the other versions and you get 12 differnt cutting lenghts UPDATE: Updated the listing thanks to @ellenw

As mentioned above by @sergiup model QP6520/30 which is smaller/lighter, has a LED battery display, longer lasting battery and includes a desktop charger seems a worthwhile upgrade for £9. Shame it doesn't also include a travel pouch like model QP6510/64.Anyone know when the discount code expires?

The battery is different - it lasts longer and charges faster, plus I think it's smaller (which means the device is thinner). I'd say the difference is worth it, especially at this discount level. I've had this model for a couple of years now, I've used it almost exclusively instead of my Braun 8 (I think) series foil shaver, it's great.

It's just one blade and the comb attachment does the rest for you. I've got the next one up to this model. Had it 2 years. It's good but you still need another trimmer if you're light skinned n freaky hairy like me. I've got the philips beard trimmer set as well as this.

Was wondering if this has a blade for body hair too?

Is this better than the cheaper QP2530/25?

I like mine, but it does miss hairs and you have to go back over areas

....will it get right up the nostrils and right down the Prince Charlies though....thats what we really want to know lol

will take me 100 years until i spent £40 on shaving

Would this be ok to use to shave head also? Instead of a clipper?

Got one of the older models. Everything is basically same but with an adjustable guard. It's alright. It's slower to trim with it compared to my other razer. Feel the blades clog up almost instantly and it spends more time under the tap.
