None of the Hue stuff has been on the Philips store for years so no it won't be included.. If you use Kodi, there are plugins available but, certainly on my Sony Android TV, they are a bit hit and miss. If you're playing stuff from a PC or Mac, there's a Hue app that works quite well. There used to be a few Android apps that use your phone camera pointed at the TV screen to do the ambilight type stuff, unfortunately I can't remember any of the names!

Steam generator all the way as they make ironing a breeze. A lot less effort goes into the elbow work as the high pressured steam does most of the job.. esp when it comes to cotton. We use ours for the big pile and its done in half the time when compared to a smaller iron.

Are these much better than normal irons? And why?

Absolute crud brush. That secondary metalized touch sensitive silver button can act up. This a brush design that's over ten years old. It used to be their range topper, but I found its reliability to be very disappointing (on the one I purchased and its warranty replacement). It used to switch itself on and off whilst on the charger in the middle of the night.

TheWendysGuy

This is likely a function of the size of booth that Oral B take at dental conferences, and the "freebie" bag that dentists are given after leaving their booth. The gold standard study on this is the Cochrane report. You can see more at the below link, but the gist is that the rotating action (which Oral B use) was better by a very small clinically insignificant amount than the side to side (which Philips uses). The side to side action is also more technique dependant so it can also be an improper use (people still scrubbing back and forth as if it is a manual), whereas the rotating system is less user error related. The true result of the study is that any of the electric systems are better than manual, and there is no meaningful difference in which system you purchase. https://www.cochrane.org/CD004971/ORAL_different-types-of-powered-toothbrushes-for-plaque-control-and-healthy-gums

FlyingMonkey

Yes. I have one, includes standard alarm beeping (which you can set the volume in), radio alarm or nature sounds. I use birds chirping, but the noise doesn’t wake me - usually the light does.

joker

It doesn’t have a beeping one on mine just natural sounds I have mine set to bird song but you set the alarm to the time you want to wake up - say 7 o’clock and so at about 6.45 the light starts to gentle come on with a warm orange glow - the light gets progressively lighter then at 7 o’clock the sounds come on but I am usually awake before they come on - it’s like being naturally woken up be sunlight You can also have the radio to wake you up

Doran1965

Because if not then I can access that permanently connected laptop via TeamViewer from any other device and save 230 pounds.

jaddy

£99.99 is the price it should be, what a rip off. (poo) Iv just read on hues own Q&A these are only hdr 10, thats max it will do while controlling lights, it will do dolby vision but it cant control light at the same time, so this is already out of date, utter junk.

Geebsie

Didn't track for me 10 days ago so have had to raise a claim

Geebsie

So I've just rewired everything to be Sources > Sync Box > Receiver > TV. What a difference - feels far more stable and responsive. Still got to rename the sources on my receiver and having a remote control for the Sync Box would be handy, but it's OK!

Caskey

Even just posting a Philips Hue deal these days on here you get the usual comments. Especially the ones complaining about the price of a Philips Hue light bulb, yet have never posted a deal in their history usually. (annoyed)

Wibblefish

It's always the ones with no deals that are the worst as well isn't it? It would be nice if they spend 1% of the effort they spend trolling actually posting deals.

The_Hoff

He joined in Feb 2017... he's posted 0 deals. Let the troll live under the bridge a while longer.

Xarde

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

RJP23

3 lights + bridge + lightstrip. An extra light and lightstrip for a extra £30 is a no brainer.

Cullen1992

Sounds good looking forward to using mine (y)

123sonny123

Got this on the previous posted deal. Very, very happy. Been using oral-b for years, but for my sensitive/slightly receding gums this is perfect. Very quick, very effective and teeth feel great. Easy clean-up. Like the fact the brushes come with a cover. Only used it for a week (twice a day for 2-3mins each time), and battery still full. Slight dissapointment was that the included travel case does not click shut. Solved by putting a rubber band around it.

Cullen1992

I seen that but it didn't include the black version which is what I was looking for. Was still a good deal though for someone who wanted the light blue version (y)

Doran1965

Can you have a normal alarm beeping sound from this when I was looking to buy one it just said 7 natural sounds or something don’t think it does the normal alarm sounds

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

Yes they are normal size now. Best way to make sure you’re getting the new ones is to look for Bluetooth. The new version allows control over Bluetooth without the hue bridge so you can control up to 10 lights before you invest in the hub.

Fred1986

Yes they are normal size now. Best way to make sure you’re getting the new ones is to look for Bluetooth. The new version allows control over Bluetooth without the hue bridge so you can control up to 10 lights before you invest in the hub.

Yes. I have one, includes standard alarm beeping (which you can set the volume in), radio alarm or nature sounds. I use birds chirping, but the noise doesn’t wake me - usually the light does.

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

Cullen1992

Yes. I have one, includes standard alarm beeping (which you can set the volume in), radio alarm or nature sounds. I use birds chirping, but the noise doesn’t wake me - usually the light does.

Yes. I have one, includes standard alarm beeping (which you can set the volume in), radio alarm or nature sounds. I use birds chirping, but the noise doesn’t wake me - usually the light does.

Steam generator all the way as they make ironing a breeze. A lot less effort goes into the elbow work as the high pressured steam does most of the job.. esp when it comes to cotton. We use ours for the big pile and its done in half the time when compared to a smaller iron.

badger636

Are these much better than normal irons? And why?

samwants2save

Nabbed a polti about 50 quid more from Amazon a few weeks back which came with a ten year warranty - much better value for money in the long run as past experience proves that these steam generator irons dont last longer than a couple of years without messing up

Doran1965

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

3 lights + bridge + lightstrip. An extra light and lightstrip for a extra £30 is a no brainer.

You can use your existing gmail address, stick an extra dot in it, and appear as a "new customer" to Philips (and qualify for offers) without having to create a new email address. gmail doesn't care how many dots are in your email address. so ABC@gmail.com is the same as A.BC@gmail.com, emails sent to both addresses end up in the same account.

£99.99 is the price it should be, what a rip off. (poo) Iv just read on hues own Q&A these are only hdr 10, thats max it will do while controlling lights, it will do dolby vision but it cant control light at the same time, so this is already out of date, utter junk.

Even just posting a Philips Hue deal these days on here you get the usual comments. Especially the ones complaining about the price of a Philips Hue light bulb, yet have never posted a deal in their history usually. (annoyed)

He joined in Feb 2017... he's posted 0 deals. Let the troll live under the bridge a while longer.

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

RJP23

3 lights + bridge + lightstrip. An extra light and lightstrip for a extra £30 is a no brainer.

Because if not then I can access that permanently connected laptop via TeamViewer from any other device and save 230 pounds.

So £99... for 2 lights I would use, the LED strip that is know to be rubbish and I'd have no use for (hence why they give it away near enough) but okay + then buying the BRIDGE which I need for what I'm using it for, for £49 = £148 Or get the only 2 lights I want with the bridge free for = £119 ....not sure where your getting no brainer from unless your high

RJP23

3 lights + bridge + lightstrip. An extra light and lightstrip for a extra £30 is a no brainer.

Cullen1992

Sounds good looking forward to using mine (y)

Posted last week for £44.95 on groupon with 20% Cashback (£8.99) so £35.96 in effect yet didn’t get as hot as this!! Wonderful world of hukd

MrMak

How do you get it for that price? Showing full price in basket.

SkydiveMacca

I just needed three of the sensors. Perfect! Thanks, and heat.

Caroline_Saurin

Hoping that the 10% from TopCashback works too!

JR1986

This is the only product I could find too! I was wondering if there was some cheaper alternative. Anyway this is a top price. Great device for use in hallways, bathrooms.

@plymouthkay probably means this totally different and un-related product https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/pack-of-3-eufy-lumi-stick-on-led-motion-sensor-night-lights-1039-prime-1488-non-prime-sold-by-ankerdirect-fulfilled-by-amazon-3326893 the ONLY relationship it has with hue is that superficially it is a motion detection device. If you want an advanced interconnecting smart lighting home ecosystem - This 3 for 2 offer of hue motion detection is greatIf you want a simple motion activated LED light, buy what @plymouthkay purchased

Drooler

Handy. Thanks. Just got 2 blades and the body blade for £20

bleach_peach

You can use your existing gmail address, stick an extra dot in it, and appear as a "new customer" to Philips (and qualify for offers) without having to create a new email address. gmail doesn't care how many dots are in your email address. so ABC@gmail.com is the same as A.BC@gmail.com, emails sent to both addresses end up in the same account.

alittleleftbehind

what this gmail dot trick?

bleach_peach

Still works, and you can order one of each blade type. Ordered 1 x3pack, 1 x2 pack, and 1xblade and body-guard. Used the gmail dot trick, worked a charm. Had better luck using Microsoft Edge than with Firefox.

d_k_u_h

I just ordered a triple pack with another 50% code, £12.49 delivered.

InsaneNun

I ordered at £30 with the 10% off code then seen the offer for 15% off if you sign up for newsletter, typical lol. If anyone wants my 15% off code it is: 15L-4RSS-AYRN-A4H4 (takes price down to £28.33)

jammy_p

These any good for shaping beards at different lengths. I decided to be a goof weekend and drop my philips accutrim I n the sink. Clearly wasn't waterproof lol

InsaneNun

Agreed. Not much differences between the two apart from this model is face + body. Personal preference and what you need it for i guess.

J_Va

All GU10s currently showing as "Available soon" which presumably means "already sold out". I missed out on the Argos deal too! One day... :)

Fred1986

Yes they are normal size now. Best way to make sure you’re getting the new ones is to look for Bluetooth. The new version allows control over Bluetooth without the hue bridge so you can control up to 10 lights before you invest in the hub.

FrostbiteXIII

The GU10s are, yeah.

FrostbiteXIII

Anyone know if they've managed to make the colour GU10s smaller yet? Got them a year ago and they stick out past the rims so you can put the covers on our lights. :(

DCFC79

Are these the ones you push and twist to replace them ?
