No it doesn't have multi channel analogue output, not many Blu Ray Players do unfortunately, and certainly not at this price.

It was a perfectly valid question, one which the asker may have found out with a bit of google searching maybe.

Went to store in Bradford but full price.
Looks like it's store specific

I have expired this before it gets any more heat!

I have changed it to local deal they had six instore at the Norwich store.

Confirmed full price in Festival Park

I love the way people ask technical spec. questions about the hardware when they could do a simple Google themselves and get the answer within 30 seconds.

Morons, the lot of them.

Checked at mine and full price. Guy said their offers normally end on Sunday, might be worth keeping an eye on this to see if they are reduced elsewhere later in the week.

Also had these in-store in PC world at same price. This was in the Cheltenham Store. They just had the display one though so didn't bother confirming.

I think If you refer to Google you will get the answer No but I've played 720p and 1080p MKV videos with mine. My standard definition MKV's won't play though (just shows message 'unsupported audio format')

It's a decent blu-ray player, but the Sony one which pops up now and again is much better with better video support and the internet features for iplayer and 4od etc.

Heat added. Thanks for posting, OP.

To others in the thread - great sense of community, guys - you're doing yourselves and the site proud with all your "google it" posts.
Very helpful.

Link 1. - Yes, apparently it should play mkvs.

Link 2 - looks like it's happy with both FAT and NTFS.

Edit - kudos to derrycityboy for his post (which wasn't there when I started typing). Thanks mate.

Just picked one up in Norwich. They had 2 left on the shelf still. Many thanks!

Does it rub your belly at the end of a long day?
Does it make you feel warm inside?
Does it know all the Lyrics to "spice up your life?"

Morons asking these questions.
