Wtf is tha? Heat added lol

Wow, I'm on it. Straight down there tomorrow. oO

I thought it was a hair dryer for 300 quid. X)

Would probably be a bad idea to try and use this as a hair dryer!

is it the most recent model of phillips ipl? is there any better/newer available?
thanks

Worth every penny!!

I bought it for the same price before Christmas - just hoping it works as only just started using it!

nice bit of kit…

How much is it normally?

Extravagant purchase when shaving is free. But the reviews are good so am going for it. Thanks OP. Not a bad price with quidco and boots points too.

Ordered. Thanks.

Not the cheapest..It was £230 23rd Nov'14 @ Amazon Lighting deals. Fingers crossed will come soon but good price in the meantime.

How is shaving free?

Good price

I bought it last year in may for £230 in boots plus double point of advantage card.... I used it for a bit now and results are not as it says on box... Need to use it ever two weeks and shave too

I read all the reviews I could find for this type of tech/device...

All inconclusive, manufacturers got clever and now avoid saying it is a permanent hair removal...

All in all, seem like one of those devices you use a few times and end up in the drawer.

And that is coming from a customer that got the device for free to test it (at £500 at the time)... I am not saying is not an honest review, but probably there is a slight shadow of doubt...

100DECPD add this code to get it for £285. Not sure how long the deal is valid for but definitely the best deal at the moment.

I can second this. Bought one for the missus last year. She fits the bill in terms of hair type.

After 6 months she saw little change. The thing ended up under the bed never to be seen again

I've always seen mixed reviews for these types of things - I think part of it is down to people spending a lot of money and expecting great results quickly, when you've really got to stick with it. It's good for people who would normally go to a salon to get this sort of stuff done, but for all others it's probably not worth it

Maybe add a description?

Don't rate windows phones especially Phillips bad design. Iphone all the way.

+1 ?

My wife went for professional IPL and the results were not great after about 12 sessions she moved to Laser. The difference is massive, and the laser is far more permanent.

She tried a couple of different IPL places, and used different machines, all with the same poor results. That was using big professional machines and in the last couple of years, so I really dont think this hand held device will live up to claims.

From my wife's results, if you want a hair free body, go for laser and don't waste your money elsewhere.

For info, my wife fits the recommended demographic for this as well, white skin, brown hair.

Good for meds. Im greek and this worked straight away. You need very dark hair for it to be effective. The darker the hair, the more light anbsorbed into the follicle. Its patchy, and it demonstrates place which i didnt go over.

I used to know this Greek girl. She could've done with this machine in the 90s...

I went for salon laser and used this lumea for maintenance (no hair removal is permanent). Works for me but you do need to use it regularly and don't expect miracles. Heat added.

I used this on my balls ... Awesome

Who comes up with theses names for products? I I'd have called this the "Beaver Blaster 2000" or something.....

Other possible name "Growler Groomer"

Snatch shaper

**** mower

Expensive ray gun
