Thanks a lot op. Have been looking to get the pro one for a few weeks now to replace my broken electric shaver. With those codes I got the pro version plus 2 extra blades for a little over £50! Would be around £100 at Boots

it's ok found it
Anyone have an opinion on the pro vs the normal?
I would like to know too, is the pro worth the extra money?
Same here.
Anyone here used these? The reviews I've come across weren't overly positive and the blade struggled (at least the pro version) with longer/thicker hair. Was tempted until I read those reviews.
The base model uses a NI-MH battery that requires 8 hours of charge for 45 mins use. NI-MH batteries tend to die quickly and can't be recharged as often ad Li_ion.

The next model up requires a 4 hour charge for 60 mins use and has a Li-Ion battery. The Pro requires 1 hour charge for 60 mins use and is also Li-Ion.

I'd get the model thats 1 up from the base model since the pro only reduces the charge time and adds a 3 level charge indicator.
I was part of the trial and been using it for a while now. This is a great shaver. The price is a bargain too. Difference between this and the pro version is that on the pro the comb has variable length, the normal version has 4 different combs. Hot hot hot
Wahl or nothing.
this looks pretty cool - is it better than a babyliss i-stubble?

Wahl or nothing.

Try phillips before u slate it. Top quality products last very long time great build quality. For me its the new sony
I was part of the trial too and the pro works great for 0.5 stubble and shaping! Water resistant too. Got it for £30 quid!

How thick is your beard? I'm growing mine out and I have a thick beard, just wondering if this works for me

Hmm the longest i've tried it is 5mm probably?
Tempting but those replacement blades ain't cheap! (1x £11.99 / 2x £19.99).

The babyliss i-stubble is the worst piece of junk I've ever bought, no joke.

It's not 4K though.

Lesson learned - anything that comes after "i-" is gonna be pretty damn crap.

Except the only other place which is Tesco.
Don't you have to add postage to this?
Very indepth review of it here for anyone wanting it
https://moo.review/philips-norelco-oneblade/

I'm tempted by it, not sure whether to go for the pro though. I just want a shaver/trimmer that can keep my stubble at a decent length. Think i'll take a punt on the cheaper one.
I've gone for the cheaper one - makes more sence

Yeah it's a piecce of junk alright I'm on my 3rd one in 3 years (John Lewis have replaced each one) but the i-stubble goes down to 0.4mm which I quite like.
replacement blade way too expensive oO

I got one for £22.88 with 4 blades and quidco, good deal
Are people ordering with extra blades?

Says they'll last 4 months (shaving 2 times a week), so after that you'll have to order another blade for £12 (or 2 for £20) and pay £3.99 delivery....seems quite expensive to be paying £16 (or £12) every 4 months compared to traditional trimmers which last 2 years
I ordered mine with extra blades, brought me over the threshold for free delivery. Think it's a £50+ total you need. After ive used these, will just pick up extra blades when they are on offer at boots or something.

Watched a few videos on youtube and it looks ideal for me at least, I went for the pro as it's water resistant and holds a 90 minute charge. The variable length connector is nice too opposed to having a few different ones lying around.

Look forward to trying it out
Cheers OP - nearly bought the base model for £35 the other day, now have the pro and replacement blades for £51 delivered
Gutted I just bought it at the weekend full price in boots! It's a brilliant shaver though. I always get cuts and rash wet shaving and all electric razors I've tried pull and miss bits. This doesn't pull at all and gets reasonably close, it's not as good as a wet shave but it's much easier.

BaByliss For Men 7898U Super Stubble, this one is much better
Gone for the top of the range Pro , with 1 extra blade, all for £49.87

Plus 7% TCB ... so it should cost me about £45 ish not bad

Went for it, pro+blade for £51 as suggested. I live in stubble so should be good. Hopefully price of the blades will drop a bit. Thanks OP

Everyone should read the words of wisdom here NiMH batteries are awful for long term, but if you consider £20 disposable, then meh!
Does anybody know how you cancel a order. I bought the base model yesterday but seeing the comments here would rather have the pro with li-ion battery and waterproof. Logged into my account but can't see a cancel order option anywhere
