is this compatiatble with other DECT handsets?

These are really good if you dont have the wrong expectations. Using the internet, these can sometimes be unclear and cut out, but they are great for what they are.

Universal telephone
This dualphone enables you to make calls via Internet or/and** via a normal landline with the mobility, voice quality & ease of use of a cordless phone. ** If you have two handsets, you can make an Internet call while the other handset makes a landline call.

In case someone doesn't notice this, the base station (pictured) plugs in to your PC via a USB socket and the PC must be on and connected to the internet for Skype to work on the phone.

Still a good deal, but wanted to make sure people didn't think they were getting a skype phone that works without needing a PC (of which there are a few about, they plug in to your network router).
