Way too expensive for what is essentially a Nintendo DS port

Ah yes, because porting 3 great DS games to 1080p consoles that don't have 2 screens, at the price of a single game, is bad value...

The first title on DS fetches around 20 quid alone on eBay. I’d say it’s worth the money...
Objection!

This can also be had for iOS and I'm guessing Android too, which I think would be my preferred way of playing a game like this.
You can buy them all at once or separately. Don't remember prices, but probably less than £15 for the full trilogy.
Android and iOS versions have badly upscaled sprites, a dodgy font and is missing some animations.
This new release is the definitive way to play the games. More than worth the price, ESPECIALLY if you haven't played it before (then literally go buy it immediately).
I personally grabbed the physical version on Switch (from Japan, but has English.)

Where did you get the Japanese release from?

Dude it's literally a text adventure game. I love the games but won't pay nearly £20 to replay them on a big screen.
Picked these up on switch this week. Enjoyed the first game and never played the second game so looking forward to them.

I don't like how the "cleaned up" character models look. Still look the best on DS I think.
Wish was on Xbox

Cool but shame on the price!

It’s pricey alright hopefully they’ll add it to gamepass - it seems to be the way things are going

I doubt they will put it on but here’s hoping!
I have it on PC.

I'm still on the first game, but it's clear they were designed for handheld devices. There is very little on screen at any given time, typically only a single character, and a dialogue box.

If you use a controller, the button prompts on screen don't change and there's no controller configuration map in the settings either so you just have to work it out as you go along.

And the games are quite light on content too because they are handheld games first and foremost. I think £15 is the sweet spot for what your getting here considering the trilogy's age and lack of content and gameplay. As charming as the series is, it's essentially an interactive story at the end of the day.

Yeah I know, I remember wanting them on the Wii but I think they were £15 each back then. Doubt they had to remake the artwork for that system though.
Said if it went on sale I'd buy this. But with a backlog of wolfenstein, ac odyssey, detroit, Kingdom come, borderlands 2 dlc, hollow Knight I should probably wait... What am I kidding porbbaly will be bought in the next 24 hours lol

Then go buy the original three games... oops, they would actually cost you more in total.

So much for being more expensive. Come on, this is three top quality games.
The games not being portable is quite a bite in the ass for them tbh
