Was in past my local Phones4U Store when I saw they had the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini Pro Handset reduced in price (last time I saw it, it was going for £130+) - it's basically going for £99.95p as a PAYG upgrade to your handset or an additional £10.00p if your purchasing with a Vodafone/T-Mobile SIM (O2 is an extra £10.00p for the handset).

Thought it prudent to post in case anybody's interested in one - note that it's also available online but you need to purchase it with a PAYG SIM from what I was advised by staff in the store.

I'll add in some additional links to tech specs and custom ROMs within the first post.

Edit - Here's the price breakdowns for the PAYG options, if your purchasing as a non-handset upgrade.

T-Mobile - £99.95 Plus £10 T-Mobile Airtime - Total: £109.95p
Vodafone - £99.95 Plus £10 Vodafone airtime - Total: £109.95p
O2 - £109.95 Plus £10 O2 Airtime - Total: £119.95p

Cheers mate - I must admit I'm tempted because it actually has a physical keyboard and it's the right size for me but I've just got a Nokia 6303i Classic Handset so not sure whether I can justify it...oh decisions, decisions!!! X)

good price. is this better than an orange san francisco?

I suppose it comes down to your individual requirements (i.e. screen size, network support, physical keyboard, camera, Android OS release support, etc, etc) - attached below is a link regarding a comparison between both handsets, to give you an idea on the technical specifications.

You should post that as a separate deal, so fellow members can find out.

If you voting cold please provide a reason why and if it's to do with a cheaper deal then please post a link to it, as this is the cheapest I've seen for this model of handset thus far.

I would advise anyone thinking of buying a phone from phones 4 u to stay clear by miles from this website.
This is actually a con business run by some thugs who also own policy admin service uk.
If you buy from them they automatically add you for a free insurance which, as they say is free for 3 months and after that they start charging your credit/debit card.
And yes ticking ‘No’ at checkout don’t stop them always.
They rely on the fact that most people don’t check their statements and small changes go unnoticed.
Their customer service centre is appalling and they would frustrate you to a point that you will regret purchasing with them.
