Here's the quidco page if that helps stora.

Don't forget to login.:)

it only lets me get to the paper deal then wont let me go any further

cheers gone for the 6 by 4 paper

go well with my new camera

Just to say I would be careful!

Once you have added the things to your basket, and gone to checkout, if you are a new customer it asks you to enter your card details on a NON ENCRYPTED site/page, i.e. there is no https or no padlock.

So seriously I would advise against entering any of your card details until the website is secure!

I believe it *is* secure; if you do properties on the page it shows https.

Just tested again myself and am now getting what stora reported:
HTTP/1.1 500 Server Error

:-(

I went via QuidCo (my first ever transaction thru them) at 17:27 and it's showing as tracking now forty minutes later. Thanks for making my first experience of QuidCo an easy one Bazr

The site is not encrypted when you put in your card details, I've tried firefox and Internet Explorer.

I don't think the padlock shows because the frame on the left is not encrypted, if you right click on the frame which you enter your details on and select properties, you can see that it is encrypted.

I can't see any encryption, I'll give it a miss.

I've bought from them before and no problem with them at all. But I don't know if they didn't have the HTTPS on the registration page then, I think they should too.

Ther's another error problem about browsers or something, they seem to be having issues tonight.

Right click on some empty space on the right hand side, the page where it asks you for your address and card details, and select Properties and you will see something like this depending on your browser...

http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/2794/inkorderfw6.gif

Notice the https in the address field and also the bit where it says HyperText Transfer Protocol with Privacy slightly above that.

(Note: I've blanked out my order number from the address)

Yes, the designer of the site should have put his brain into gear and not used frames for the ordering page. If he had, the padlock icon would have shown up where you would normally expect to see it in your browser. However, he didn't and the above is how you can verify if the page really is secure or not

Thanks for that Cuddy ;-) Welcome to HotUKDeals by the way!
