got one for the daughter from morrisons last week, same price, good printer

i got one from littlewoods at this price also. cracking printer.

Just remember to factor in the cost of fresh ink - usually FAR from low with HP printers.

Firstly, sorry for what I am about write, I do not want to turn this posting (which is good by the way), into a PC help surgery. However, I bought this printer recently and have really struggled to get it to work wirelessly- so much so, HP have not been able to rectify the problem after 4 hours of trying. If anyone knows how to install this by over-riding McAffee, I would be greatful for some hints/tips/websites/anything....

If this is moved to another section, I understand and again apologies for hi-jacking this post for my own needs.

Whenever I've had an inkjet printer (Epson) the ink always seems to dry up resulting in lines in the printout, then have to use a load of ink 'cleaning' the heads. Is it just because Epson are a bit pants or was I not using the printer enough? Every printer I've ever had does it...

Makes me think I should just buy a laser printer.

RE problems with McAfee - why not use AVIRA AV free edition with COMODO Firewall free edition. COMODO is a little tricky to use at first as it challenges everything when installing software - switch to installation mode - IF YOU ARE SURE WHAT YOU ARE INSTALLING IS CLEAN - once settled down works well. Suggest download AVIRA and COMODO first - then disconnect from Internet - unplug cable etc to be sure, then uninstall MCafee, reboot , install AVIRA then COMODO. Do a Google for reviews on both products if you like. Free AVIRA does not scan emails when coming in, but would flag up nasty if email opened. NEVER open emails from unknown sources, just delete and empty deleted items folder.

Maybe its because this isn't a wireless printer?
