I still haven't managed to get a game of this. A shame as I know i would like it but my usual gaming group probably wouldn't be interested. 7.2 on BGG. NBP is Amazon.

Welcome to the world of Photosynthesis, the green strategy board game! Plant and shape the ever-changing forest as you cultivate your seeds and your strategy. Take your trees through their life-cycle, from seedling to full bloom to rebirth, and earn points as their leaves collect energy from the revolving sun’s rays. Carefully pick where you sow and when you grow, as trees in the shadows are blocked from light, and from points. This game features realistic gameplay and beautiful graphics.

Do it, Jay!

Argh, peer pressure has always worked on me. I may well do. It was even cheaper on Prime day last year so might wait til then...
This is best suited to more spontaneous players. If you play with a group who are prone to overthinking every move, you're best avoiding this game because it will be unbelievably slow.

I fall into the first category. My game turns are usually seconds. There are one or two in my usual group in the second category.
Just looking at Taverns of Tiefenthal as well
It is a fun game, but I agree, needs to be played spontaneously otherwise it can take foreeeeeeverr.
Great price for a Brill game. Got this for my son at Christmas. He's 10 and really likes it. Good mechanics and the artwork is superb
