Pick and mix screws etc from £2 @ B&Q

We popped into b&q for some nuts, bolts and washers. We found a small pack of 10 washers for just under £4. But we also found a pick and mix area where we can pick up a small plastic bag and fill with whatever we want albeit a smaller choice but for just £2. The larger bag I think was £6. We got far more for our money this way and plenty more for future jobs. You can put in as much as you want into the bag as long as you can close it up.
Limited stores only, you can check for nearest store on the link.

Nice find, thanks OP, heat from me. (Just to add, one of Wilko's greatest secrets is their pick 'n' mix nut and bolt bags.)

Regarding the B&Q 'Find Pick and Mix Stores' tab on their website (via the link you have provided), I think the 'find stores' tab is not specific for finding stores that have a Pick and Mix section. The B&Q website is rather vague in that respect.

Wilko have the same type of set up.
£2 and £3 for small or large bag, with a good selection of hooks in there too.
I've been using Wilko since years ago, cheaper there and lots to choose from. This deal is good if you have a nearby B&Q like I do.

You're correct, the website doesn't show which stores have pick and mix. I called and my local store does - although they didn't have M4 screws yet they had M4 nuts! I ended up spending almost £5 on a tiny packet.

For nuts and bolts, my first stop is usually Toolstation. Quantity 100 M4 steel nuts, £0.55. Or nyloc £2.31.

I was going to buy an assortment online because I'm unlikely to need this particular screw again. I wasn't sure if the screw was an M4 or 4.5 so I went to B&Q to check. I ended up getting them there because it was too late for next day delivery and I was keen to get the job done. Impatience costs!
