soz no, but will be handy to take your flags down

The one pictured is very, very much better than the one I got in Home Bargains (which was close to useless).

always wanted one of these for picking up rubbish.

But it can't go around corners.......:p

Im so lazy I would need of these to pick one of these from the shop shelf for me ? Im so lazy I got my mrs to write this comment for me !

miles136

for disabled or lazy people

I don't suppose you intended it miles136 but that line, it could cause offence.

These are great to keep the kids entertained also, both my boys loved them

could always use it to pick up dead rats. there are things that you would rather not touch even with marigolds.

I thought that too, I had to re-read the title of the post cos I took it the wrong way to begin with!

Yes, I am forever tripping over dead rats

Soon to be seen being carefully thrust into household letterboxes at 3am throughout the UK by youths intent on stealing car keys.

Took the words out of my mouth x

It's a litter picker.
It's for picking up litter without having to touch it, because people who drop litter have poor personal hygiene.

jokes and insults aside.... I really would like on of those but then twice the length (slot-car hobby...) the original link is dead though

Haven't got much choice. Everywhere is next to the front door!

Handy for ticket machines in car parks if you drive a left hand drive car.

You clearly don't have cats then, they like to bring in (and kill) mice, birds and other assorted wildlife. It's no fun clearing that up.

I am a very lazy person. Maybe too lazy to go to home bargains to pick one of these up, even though I live right next to the stockton store...

I really really got the wrong impression about this deal when I read the headline. It does seem like the op intended to link lazy and disabled and then spin it with pick up. I don't do the Points of View yours offended crap but it seems a bit unsavoury to me, so that's why I voted cold.

Also great for lazy disabled people!

Is it strong enough to pick up women?

Heat from a lazy person!

Could be useful for getting things which have fallen behind hard to reach areas - cupboards etc. Voted hot.

Might pick one up

wouldn't have much use for one, but hot for a bargain. I see the PC brigade are in, this would be handy for a disabled person (and possibly a lazy person) whether it was meant as a joke, lighten up.

I am not convinced that this is a deal for all disabled people or all lazy people. I am aware of at least one disabled person whose disability is blindness, and I'm just not sure this will help. Similarly, I know someone who is so lazy they wouldn't bother to even pick this up, let alone pick anything up with it.

Therefore, I think this is best described as a deal for someone who wants a rubbish "Helping Hand".

Don't you get these free from the NHS if you need one? My sister has had hip operations, etc, and got one a while back...

Depends on the disability. And I'd rather be in the "PC brigade" than the "ignorant generalisation brigade".

Definitely an offensive title as it excludes those who are both disabled and lazy. I, for one, am outraged.

You have the energy to be outraged? I sense a faker!

Can this be used to put your socks on ?.

I'm not ignorant, why are people so serious? Most people who are 'offended' probably aren't disabled or lazy, but feel it necessary to let everyone know they are offended? The op probably used that in the title knowing certain people would bite. I'm sorry if you are offended.

Can you use this to put your socks on ?

I can feel the tension a brewing, where are the pc brigade tonight, back and forths have been said amongst us all and yet still no hurraw, this is monumental!

I for one have no need for one of these but two, mainly so that I can hopefully breed and create a new race with arms much onger than most which makes tasks such as reaching the top shelf in asda a breeze.

hot!

How do you cope with life if you find this offensive...
