great price .

Cheers - have reserved one so I can have a look at it properly.

No space for change? I'll pass thanks.

Good price though - heat added.

Why do these things never seem to have a zipped section?
The only place i have ever managed to get a decent leather wallet, with space for notes, cards, and zipped coins in the Spanish markets, and it's a tad pricey travelling just to get a new one!

Why would you want a coin section in a wallet anyway - its not a purse

Coins should be kept in a pocket IMO

IME coins-in-pockets soon become coins-in-sofas, coins-in-taxis, or coins-on-floor - lol
Much prefer to have them zipped away somewhere

I guess there is always something like this, problem being, if I bought it, I'd then have nothing to put in it!
]Wallet with Coin Section

Rediculous that chances are if it got stolen the wallet would be worth more than I would likely have in it!

Bought it today, but it seems that it will be returned back to Argos tomorrow .. once you fill it with the cards it is very tricky to pull any back.

Should have gone to tkmaxx !

You really should not keep coins in a Wallet, its very sad and only little Old Men and Ladies should still do it.

I think Wallets are like shoes and reflect the Person. My Wallet has a Coin Pocket in it but I would never carry Coins in it. For one it ruins the shape of the Wallet and you look very sad pulling out your 20p's for your next pint.

A Wallet really does need a zipped coin section.
I bought a M&S autograph one not long ago that was just perfect.

Also, this is a good price for this wallet, despite the lack of aforementioned coin section.

My mate still has the mick taken out of him for bringing a embarrasing little wallet with a coin department in it and buying a drink at the bar with coins from it, and that was nearly 15 years ago even the bar girl was laughing at it, maybe its just not a Northern thing?

It really is not very cool to start tapping a wallet to release any coins IMO, I doubt you would impress any girls anyway!

Does this come with some money?:-D

The large zipped pocket that we see in this particular wallet is more for keeping your £50 note stash safe. Some wallets (especially the trendy Ben Sherman ones) do have pockets that would be ideal for storing coins - nothing wrong with being able to always have some change on hand for say, the parking meter. Very small pockets are really for storing stamps though.

A wad of twenty pound notes will impress a girl:thumbsup:and throw the change away :-D

I've bought this wallet twice from Argos. The full price used to be £10 so it's obviously gone up £2 since then.

It's decent for the price but begins to get a bit tatty after a year or so and obviously hasn't got a coin section.

My gf bought me a better one from Boots for £20 last Xmas. Black leather like this one, altough with a matt finish whereas this one is more glossy, with a coloured stripe on it and has a coin section on the outside with a popper closing it. Only problem is I'm too lazy to use the coin conpartment and my money falls down the setee and ends up becoming property of the kids!

This wallet doesn't have any zipped pockets on it.

Looks ugly, thought it'd be stylish being pierre cardin.

I think wallets and shoes should be functional and putting that amount of thought into either of them is even sadder - I wont suffer for fashion you metrosexuals

Well, stitching then :whistling:- same difference  Its been a long day, at least thats my excuse :-D

they still stock these? I bought this 6 years ago around that price.

i have a friend who carries a wallet and a seperate change purse, he's from somerset though and they're a bit odd down there

Looks like the wallet police are out in force. Sadly a nice wallet will not make the difference between meeting a nice lady or not.

And I'd advise anyone whose gf takes an unhealthy interest in your wallet to run a mile - it is usually the contents they are interested in - not the design or it's owner. You don't have to pay genuine women.

Proud owner of extremely battered animal wallet (complete with coin pocket - zip now bust) which has even survived a mugging. I lobbed it into a bush so the muggers could play fetch (they didn't find it - but I retrieved it - contents intact - later on that evening).

face it guys roy cropper is a fictional character - pockets are for coins, don't most of us pay by plastic these days anyway - hence the numerous card slots:)

Bought one of these too, or at least something very similar, from Argos many moons ago - so it must sell well. These are very slim wallets and are an excellent choice If you are only looking to carry some cash and a few cards. (It may also contain an ID card holder and a separate holder for two cards.)
