I have always wanted to try this just cause of the rather strange name and label. Took the plunge as it has not been this lowly priced for ages.

And it has an age statement (if a rather low one), beat that Mortlake "Old" Rare !!!

I'd stick to Laphroaig @ 25's personally - a no-gimmick cracker of a whiskey.

A five year old blend with a name like that, honestly wouldn't pay £10.00 for it.

I feel sorry for it but I shouldn't. it actually won a silver medal in 2013. If it were Aldi they would be crowing about that.

Don't know unless you try

I've tried great cheap stuff and crap expensive stuff, easiest way to find out is to drink it.

I think you'll find that some whisky producers will bottle & pack their stuff for you & your label - for a price

all you have to do is devise a rude label, add on 30% profit then sell the stuff

how about: My Hamster's Dick (he's called Dick, picture of hamster with 'Dick' label)

or: Here's Fanny! (picture of cat called Fanny)

It actually tastes pretty good for a £23 bottle.
